I would love to run .................I used to do running when I was younger and just love the feeling but I need to loose a good 30-40lb more before i will really start running again in earnest, I do not want to put that much stress on my joints ........................5k is going to be my target and after that who knows but cannot imagine doing a full marathon ................but never say never lol x

It was! I did the virtual 5k here on Sp and it got me doing cardio regularly. Just finding out I could even do something like that was amazing and motivating! I am more of a High Intensity Interval girl now. Long distance runners are often less muscular than sprinters, so doing HIIT feeds my desire to become stronger more readily.

A marathon would be very inspirational to me. Unfortunately neithe in Mexico or where I live in Canada is that possible.

I myself have never been able to understand the meaning of Marathons for goals, even though a good part of my life people have made it their goal. I myself would rather work on a goal to get healthier to be able to go on some sort of nature trail or trip and not feel like I'm dying afterwards. But that maybe because all my life even when I was young, I have never been really able enjoy a lot of running unless I was trying to get to my next destination through the woods.
Make myself healthier, so my jean size number is smaller then my age. (which I've almost accomplished- I wish there was a size 19 in womens)
