Like Ramona, strength has never been fore front of my exercising but since the valentines challenge I have found I really enjoy it, I also started stretching more to see if it will help my sciatica, so new movements can only be doing my body good !!!!!

Working on building lost muscle tone. Working out at the gym a minimum of 3 times a week and treadmill the rest of the time. In fact..... I will go for a walk around the neighborhood for a few miles this morning.

After seeing on SP that we lose a lot of muscle while losing weight, I've decided I'd better start doing more. The Valentine Challenge came at just the right time to give me the final push.
Thanks Cathy and Dee!

I just started strength training again. I use to do a lot of weight lifting I really enjoyed doing a lot. I really pushed myself hard, and it really helped my body shape up. Not sure if I can get to the point again. I am getting older

They say use it or lose it. I found out this is really true. It took me many years to become deconditioned to the point of minimal mobility. Have seen major changes since working out 5 times a week and doing lots of walking. It has only taken three months to see major results. Thanks SP.

I'm not doing it right now, its on hold for later. I like to let it wait, and then when I'm close to goal, I'll start resistance training to tone my spindle arms!

Strength is a big one for me. I have lost so much strength over the years. I used to have gymnast legs and would like to again. I do strength just about every day.

I don't make it as much priority as I should. Mostly my ST is included in my yoga classes and in zumba sentau which includes some ST. It's not fun for me, so that makes it hard for me to want to do it.
Since I restarted my efforts in November I have prioritized cardio but I have now started to incorporate strength regularly. I have joined the fitness center at work and am working with the staff on putting together an ST program which will give me total body but I really need to strengthen my core.
Let's make it a healthy day!

Two times per week for about 40 minutes. Also use weights with the mini Coach Nicole workouts. Love how it tones.
