I like challenges. I love challenges. However I have done a few in the past that have money as motivation and it kind of works against me, I lose sight of my real goals and what I'm trying to accomplish. So I dont' do those anymore. but I love challenges. More competitive against myself though.
I come from a very competitive family and have always liked a challenge. That being said it must be a possible goal and I really only like being in competition with myself. Sports were never really my thing. I liked to say I walked 40 mins. yesterday, today I will do 45. So I will make the 13 goals I set for myself happen and be thrilled as I do it because if I do those the lbs. will take care of themselves.

I like a doable challenge. Not something that is above my range ... that is not encouraging to me. I never enter a "lose x number of pounds by x date" ... I have no control of how fast or slow my body will lose and I have learned not to set myself up for that kind of defeat.
