This year, it's just me. I'm ready for a change ... again. Hopefully this time I can keep it off longer than a year, though. Forever would be nice.

For me it's my health. I am diabetic and I have to lose the weight. I also have young kids and I want to be around for them. It was also a good stiff kick in the rear end from my best friend. I hated the way she talked to me about it but it was what I needed to hear.

I want to be able to do all the things with my grandkids. I want to run with them, climb on the toys at the park. Wrestle on the floor. Just anything they like to do.

It's been a time-to-pay-the-fiddler kind of thing for me. Doc told me I was pre-diabetic and that really scared me. I knew I had to stop my destructive bingeing habits and laxative abuse or it was going to kill me. I have been off laxatives now for 9 months and I have only binged 3 times in that time. Unfortunately, yesterday was one of them.

Seeing my youngest sister come for a visit 50 pounds lighter. I knew that if she could do it, I could too. And I did ... 150 pounds worth!!! I can take these regained pounds off also!!
