I think Christmas, with all the plates of cookies being exchanged and baked, and then the goodies in my stocking. Im determined this year though to keep it all in moderation and have what I want, just a limited amount.
I would definitely say Christmas with Hallowe'en running a close second.
"The world is one country and mankind its citizens" one of the many truths spoken by Baha'u'llah and "Love is the light that guideth in darkness, the living link that uniteth God with man, that assureth the progress of every illumined soul."
Without a doubt, it's Thanksgiving. That's when I go back to see all my family. And all the fattening dishes come out. No veggies, no lean meats can be found!!!! Days are long. I'm travel weary from driving 8 to 11 hours depending on traffic. I love the time with my family, but the stresses are sooooo high during this time. Each year, I work to make the time better and each year, I'm more of a success. It is sooooooo worth the effort!!!
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
