Autumn Challenge for September 7 - November 30

Challenges:

1) You know that new exercise you've been wanting to try? Or is it 2 or 3 new exercises? This is the time to do it! Try a new exercise and see how you like it. Try to stick with it for at least a month, but don't do anything that is dangerous to your health. If you like it, stick with it throughout the challenge. If it's not for you, try another one...but give yourself a chance to branch out. Change is good for the soul - and the body!

2) At least once a week, give a goodie to someone else who is doing the challenge. Tell them why you're sending the goodie...they inspire you, they make you laugh, they never give up...you'll be able to think of something.

3) Eat at least 3 freggies a day. (honor system - you don't need to report)

September weeks:
1:ahh, well, Sept has went and gone, and I did nothing new....so nothing on this one
on anything.......and this was probably when I took off some time from several of my groups.
2:0 3. goal met
3:0 Simple Yoga; goal met on #3
4:0 Simple Yoga; goal met on #3


October weeks:
1:Simple yoga.....really basic stuff...but good stuff....:); #3
2:Simple Yoga; goal met on #s2 and 3
3 Simple Yoga; goal met on all
4:Simple Yoga: goal met on all

November weeks:
1: goal met on all
2: goal met on all
3:
4:
The last week in November: Tell us how you are feeling after doing your new exercise!

1: Planned to start kettlebell, but will have to wait til the sinus infection is gone...
2: Did a little kettlebell...just a warm up

1: Adding more strength training...bridges on ball, Dumbbell Triceps Extensions on Ball
2: Enjoying my new ST exercises.

The last week in November: Tell us how you are feeling after doing your new exercise!
5: Of the 3 different exercises I tried, I liked the new ST I did during Nov. the best. I'm going to try the kettlebell again one day, but yoga just isn't my style.

Autumn is a time when children are back in school, most vacations are over and Thanksgiving and Christmas are looming on the horizon.

As we start thinking about those delicious foods that will soon tantalize our taste buds, let's not forget about the end goal of this journey we're on.

This challenge is for the next 3 months...yes, that will take us through Halloween and Thanksgiving. Starting Saturday September 7 through Saturday November 30. (I'm giving you a week to get ready).

Challenges:
