A much better day! That really bad day made me realize that I was letting a person at work be in control WAY to much! Yesterday, I stopped that. I took back the control that was mine. Felt soooooo much better. Today, I'm going to do the same. WOOHOO!!! emoticon

Because you all will understand, I'm going to write this here. This week, I'm working really hard to manage my day's stress by taking care of me without using food. Today was a tough day! I could list for you all the things that nailed my self-esteem to the wall all day long, but I imagine I'd stress the limits of how long a post can be, so I'll let you imagine for yourself. It was a long hard day. I came home and was simply grateful to have managed to get through it.

Then, an email that I've been waiting for several days for arrived. Stressful news, but it has to come in order for me to move ahead with a life challenge. My first thought was FOOD! I had to get some documents together, scan them and email them back. By the time I was finished, I had another email with a document I had to proof and approve. By this point, my head was in control. No longer was my stomach demanding popcorn ... and there is nothing wrong with popcorn if eaten for nutritional value, but my stomach wanted it for emotional purposes.

I made it through this wretched day and this emotional evening. I didn't cave in to food. And there was plenty of candy calling my name at the office before the popcorn called to me. Typing "done" beside of Wednesday on my post below was a HUGE accomplishment for me today! I'm over the moon pleased with my accomplishment. Thanks so much for giving me a place to share my victory!!

I changed my cal range to 1300-1650......and will be tracking my cals and my carbs once again to see how I do after going wild last week......this time it will be my decision, not any one else's so we shall see how this one works out for me.....I need to stay on track, so I will be keeping a close eye on this......that reminds me of that son, "I've got my eye on you"...okay, what I was thinking of is George Harrison's "Got my mind set on you". not the other one....ahh, well. any way, back to business. Maybe after this week, I can move on to a new challenge. *grin*:)

This will be a challenge for me, but it must be done. I will post the 2 green things I eat each day. I really do not like most veggies, and I will never eat any salads, but I bought spinach and broccoli today. I will also try kiwi for the first time. I have eaten green grapes before, so I have those to fall back on.

Sun.-----1/2 cup broccoli (which I can still taste) and 1 cup green grapes
Mon.----cup of spinach (in chocolate shake) and cup of green grapes
Tue.-----cup of green grapes and cup of spinach
Wed.-----cup of green grapes and cup of spinach
Thur.-----cup of green grapes and cup of roasted broccoli
Fri.-------cup of green grapes, cup of kale chips and cup of cheesy kale chips
Sat.-----cup of green grapes and cup of cheesy kale chips

I feel your pain, Patricia-CR, I to have had to struggle with my calorie rang each day. Its EXHAUSTING!!!!

I mean seriously....having to count every little thing can be tiring but I will be the first to admit that the end result is worth it. So this week ( starting tomorrow...lol)m I will be working hard at staying within emoticon
