Reviewing my goals I am doing pretty good, I need to work on my attitude and to continue to work on getting 8 hours of sleep a night. I need to step up my weight loss if I am going to hit 60lbs this year.

Thank goodness I put "6. Be gentle with myself" in there because there are a couple of mine that need a little more attention than I've been giving them. Good news is that I'm checking in on these now, so I have plenty of time to self-correct.

Over-all, I'm pleased with my progress. I'm doing really well with learning how to manage my food related emotions and with being gentle with myself. I'm taking much better care of myself this year than I did last year!

I did not post my resolutions and don't remember what they were but I know one was doing volunteer work at the library and I am doing that now

1. stop emotional eating

my Goals ;
1. Get adequate rest. (I am a nurse that works nightshift)
2. get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day
3 eat more fruits and vegies.
4. get in a routine so I can stop over eating.

1. Drink 8 glasses of water per day.

2. Exercise a minimum of 1 hr. a day.

3. Track my food on spark tracker daily

4. Eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables daily.

5. Log into Sparks everyday

6. Get more rest each night

7. Tell my family I Love them everyday.

8. Learn how to manage my emotions.

9. Try new foods.

10. Give my Spark Pals more encouragement and goodie's.

11. Listen more and be more understanding.

Ok this is a work in progress so it might change, but here's my rough draft.

1--Get to my goal weight and maintain it (1 lb/week)
2--Read the book, Jesus the Christ by end of year and finish New Testament by June
3--work on cleaning and organizing (babysteps)
4--strengthen my upper body (do more ST--at least 1x/week)
5--greet my husband with a smile and a kiss when he comes home from work
6--paint my daughter's bedroom (if she ever decides on colors), and possibly the girls' bathroom
7--complete my mom's quilt (work on it some at least 1x/week)
8--Do something pampering for myself at least once a week
9--exercise regularly, finding exercise that I enjoy, including zumba and yoga (love them)
10--finish some projects and get rid of some that I don't care about any more, including work on pictures at least 1x/week
11--be active on SP, including log in points, team participation, challenges, read the spark
12--Be a positive and happy force in the lives of my children and husband (weekly dates with husband, monthly dates with daughters)
13--Study Spanish at least 1x/week

1. Exercise for a minimum of 20 minutes per day
2. Make two new healthy recipes per week to try
3. try one new fruit or vegetable per month
4. measure, weigh and focus on portion control
5. Think of the positive in all situations
6. Help another person get motivated
7. Finish my LGMC class and practice the new leadership skills
8. Log on and visit my Spark friends daily
9. Give myself a daily pep talk
10. Go camping with my husband at least 4 times in the year
11. Stick to my budget monthly
12. Review the budget with my husband at least quarterly
13. Hug my daughters whenever I can.

1. Exercise every day even if it is for 10 minutes on some days
2. Use nutrition tracker to track every thing that goes in the mouth
3. Spend some time each day in cleaning and organizing
4. Try to be calm and not lose my temper no matter what the provocation
5. Be a positive and happy person
6. Live a healthy well balanced life
7. Every day do something positive and make at least one person's day better
8. Use all the fitness DVD's and books already bought
9. Same with all the self help, spiritual and life changing books that I already have
10. Always try to see things from other person's perspective also
11. Eat healthy for the most part for the whole year
12. Be there for my Spark friends
13. Learn to be content and live in the present

At the end of 2013 I would like to feel that I did put my best effort on all fronts consistently. And that I am ready to go on for the rest of my life.

1. Stick up for myself when I am abusive to me.
2. Read my One Year Bible daily.
3. 100 spark points daily.
4. At least 30 minutes exercise 6 days a week.
5. Lose 1-2 pounds a week.
6. 8 hours sleep daily.
7. Stay within calorie range daily using nutrient dense foods.
8. Holiday Warrior attitude daily.
9. Walk/Run 5 miles per week.
10. Breakfast daily.
11. At least 5 freggies daily.
12. Make an effort to rebuild relationship with Mom weekly.
13. Say at least one encouraging thing to Hubby daily.

This list was an effort but I am so glad we are all doing this. Great idea!

Here are my 13 emoticon

1. Eat what my body requires not what I feel it wants

2. Drink my 8 glasses of water a day

3. Log into Sparks everyday

4. Post in the team everyday

5. Time Management - a big thing for me, sometimes life just seems so busy.

6. Exercise at least 5 days a week.

7. Learn a new recipe every month

8. Aim for at least 7lb a month weight loss

9. Look after my body not just on the inside but outside too!!!

10. Tell myself once a day "I am worth it", learn to love me for me.

11. Blog more often - at least once a week.

12. Show my family I appreciate them, tell them I love them every day.

13. Enjoy and emcompass all my friends here on Spark, let them know how special they are to me.

Good idea, so here goes!


1. Drink 8 glasses of water per day including cranberry tea.

2. Walk a minimum of 1 hr. a day.

3. Say daily prayers and use prayer beads for Allah'u' Akbar, 95 times daily.

4. Practice spanish minimum of 20 mins. daily.

5. Track food on spark tracker daily.

6. Find a way to get at least 60 pts. per day on spark.

7. Call children and grands each at least every 2 weeks.

8. Comb dogs daily.

9. Be patient and grow out hair.

10.Give at least 1 spark goodie every day that I am on the computer.

11.Eat at least 5 veggies daily.

12.Give two pesos to each of the beggars I come across.

13.Do not be too hard on myself if things do not go the way I want them to, there is always a manana.

With 2013 nearly upon us I thought it would be a good idea if we set up a thread for us to list our

SMART goals/resolutions for 2013, to keep with the theme I thought if we all listed 13 things we

would like to change in 2013, then come back maybe quartley and see how we are getting on to

what we wanted to achieve, At the end of the year it would be a very exciting time to look back

and see how our year went.

You can join anytime there is no rush and it can be for any changes we would like to accomplish.
