Great job of sticking with the climb Joan...even though it was really cold up there and hard to breathe in that thin air!

I think a party is in order! emoticon

yep, sure am......but it sure was longely up there toward the end....it was more fun when there were more of us doing it..........*sigh* of course, I knew that I would probably be the last one but somehow the joy and fun of doing it just disappated when it looked like I was the only one posting.

emoticon what can I say?? thing is, I am doing the exercise....so why not post it for both.....just got a wee bit distracted until I came to my senses and thought it through...still trekking though.....we are on our second week running the road in Central Australia.....it's all tied to our exercise, though, to make sure we get our exercise in......it really has been a blast and every day I learn so much more about Australia.....I am so fascinated by the Karijini National Park in the Pilbari region.....and the incredilble Kimberley Region where we are now...can anyone say diamonds are a girl's best friend? ....well, actually, exercise is....when it comes down to it......*grin* :0

*Whew* that was a long, long climb.......but this one promises to be even taller....funny thing how each one is just a wee bit taller than the last one.......huh?? oh, yeah, I forgot that...makes sense to me............*grin* must be all this cold air freezing my brain; good thing I have warm gloves and a good thick hat on.....:)

Ramona,

I am amzed at how few steps I actually get in. Getting 10.000 is a pipe dream for me right now but my goal is 7000 a day. I will have nned to be very aware of moving more. It took me a week to climb in Nepal!

Nice to know we were missed, Freind!

nope, not yet....but I am climbing as fast as my little legs will trundle........*snicker* little as in short, that is.....I got short changed..in the legs department ..*grin* :0

at the moment, I am still in Alaska......wow, gotta catch my breath..even though I've not reached the top yet, the view just takes my breath away.... good thing I have long range telescopic view on my camera.........*snicker* :)

you mean you can see me beneath all this climbing gear and winter clothing, all this winter clothes on and I am still shivering but it makes me climb faster.*grin* :)

You make this challenge fun! Both of you. I am still looking up each mountain as I climb them. Some pretty neat factoids. Way to go all of our climbers! Don't give up!

Ya'll be careful you don't get a nose bleed being up so high.

Don't stay up there too long Joan. You never know what might be waiting on the other side of the next mountain...

I would love to see New Zealand!

Truckin' right up those mountains, Angela! Good work!

How are all our other climbers? Hope it's enjoyable! I keep track of which mountain I'm on and think about it as I park further from the store etc. LOL
