I've found that I like almond milk better than dairy milk - fewer calories, more calcium, and it tastes better!

Dressing for your salad (if you like creamy) can be made with low-fat sour cream or Greek yogurt rather than all of the mayo...I only use 1/4 of the amount of mayo! I use low-fat because it has more taste while reducing calories and it saves all of the chemicals that you get when buying fat-free dressing!

use fat-free Greek yogurt-any flavor-on your morning cereal instead of the usual milk-you get 2x the protein and a rich tasting breakfast that is really creamy. Add what ever fruit you like to get a fruit serving, as well.

Use a box of cake mix with one can of diet drink. Chocolate with diet cola, spice with diet sprite, the skys the limit. You only need to count the mix ingredients for calories.

the object of this is to suggest things you do to replace high fat/carbs or anything for lower versions...

replace oil in baking with applesauce...
