I've noticed that the sprouts I have trouble with are the mixtures of small seeds and larger seeds. They sprout at different times, and by the time the slower bean or pea type seeds sprout, the smaller seeds need to be eaten.
I NEVER have a problem with alfalfa or broccoli seeds sprouting successfully. Love those broccoli sprouts.
I do, and I have thrown away only 2 sprouting jars of seeds which only half sprouted and started to smell. No way to rescue. Just dump, disinfect the sprouting equipment, return to the store with your unsprouted seeds, and try for a refund.
