I like the fact that Jonas is a metrosexual and not gay... it's not that there is anything wrong with being gay, but many many of the series I have read that the lead woman had a gay best friend- it is just becoming so redundant.... I love the way they talk to each other- I had a boyfriend like that (he was also a metrosexual) and it kept the relationship interesting.... I was also 10 yrs older than him- as Barb is 15 yrs older than Jonas.

I disagree- I liked all three books! I laughed and chuckled. The one thing I didn't like was the language - too many "f's" - and I worked with truck drivers for 20 yrs!

to be honest i did the same thing i love mermaids so once i bought the first ones i bought the rest well i kinda wish i didnt cause they werent worth it i thought the second was ok but the third was ahh not so well in my opinion. neway the first one is kinda qurkie but funny thats why i liked it.

I didn't look at any of the reviews... I tend to not always agree with about 1/2 of them anyway! lol ...I think that the poor reviews may have been due to the main char's weird attitude. I thought it was funny and can relate sometimes... Sometimes I feel the Fred coming out in me! LOL

The thing that is weird is that the book got so many mixed reviews... It was one of those you either love it or hate it books... I happened to love it!

Werecat- it is an easy read- once you get it you can finish it off quickly...I will refrain from commenting too much on it as I don't want to spoil it for you.....

First of all- I am going to tell you why I hated this book....

I laughed so hard and enjoyed it so much that I HAD to order the other 2 books - and that makes my TBR pile even bigger!!!! LOL...
