It's the getting back on track that is important. Obviously, eating too much all the time cannot be helped by "getting back on track". I think in that circumstance it might be an oxymoron! I just focused again this morning on my mantra: one day at a time. That has helped me so much already, but so, too, has going right back to good eating and exercising habits. Reminding myself that "falling off the wagon" doesn't mean the death knell if one gets right back on again is so important. Way to go!

Hey, Michelle. I've been MIA for a bit due to my husband's birthday, traveling to bring a son home from college, BB games, etc., etc. I was run ragged, and felt pretty awful a week ago, but things cleared up quickly. I wonder if I was just worn out! Good news about your weight loss! I think it's great that you have stuck with your program and SP as you maintain! This morning I was 3 pounds down from my last weigh-in! I am very happy about that!

How about these beautiful days we've had? I have enjoyed them so much. We had a snack and cocktail on our porch Friday, and it felt so good to be outside, even though it was chilly.

I hope you had a blessed Easter weekend and have a good week! I'm hoping for a bit of down-time to get to some things I had to put on hold over the last week, or so. There's never enough time for everything.

Oh that would make me crazy too! I battled that at my grandma's house once a few years back--I was at Theisen's getting supplies and the guy working there suggested glue traps, because they will squeal and carry on and their buddies will come running to check it out and get caught too--and you can catch more--more quickly that way. It was amazing how well that worked! Good luck on the battle-front!
I'm so glad today looks like it's the last of the really cold days--looking forward to the warming trend of the next week:)

I love it when weather keeps me at home (most of the time), and I feel guilt-free doing just want I want! Glad you had a good day. I stayed at home, too, but worked around the house, along with exercising and doing a bunch of paperwork. It was a fine day. Today I realized a mouse was eating a loaf of bread on our counter top!! We have had a problem in our food pantry, but the counters are not safe, either. ICK!!! We have caught 9 or 10 already, so we're hoping we're on the down-hill slide. My husband's birthday dinner is Saturday, and I don't know what we'll do with all the pantry food that is being stored on the dining room table! Guess I'll be waiting another few days for the answer to that! Have a good week!

I had a great weekend! Spent it with friends and family, and I took a personal day today--was planning to spend it with my friend who is on Spring break from the school she works at--work out at Planet Fitness with her--eat at Panera Bread (our favorite), but the weather had to go and throw freezing rain at us. I stayed home, spent part of the day reading, did an exercise video instead, and still had a nice day.

It can be irritating- that scale- today is a down day for me--always like those :)
Have a great weekend--I'll be in Davenport tomorrow--a little shopping (maybe some diamond ring shopping emoticon ) Confirmation for my best friend's oldest son at their church in the evening--it will be a fun and full day!

Glad you had a good birthday! You're right, the weight will come off again. Isn't it irritating how easy it is to weight 2-4 pounds more than the day before?

I thought I had a nice loss earlier in the week, and, indeed, the scale told me I had lost another pound. However, since then, even though I have stuck to my calorie range and have been exercising, I am up 2 pounds. Just have to keep going. What goes up will come down again with proper attention!

It was a busy one for me too. Sunday was a cake day :) so I had a light healthy breakfast, and nibbled on cut up fruit and some cheese in the afternoon to supplement the cake--I took my two cakes--one I made, one daughter made to an afternoon country dance with my family for my Birthday--did some dancing and had a great time with my family!! My weight is up a bit, but I'm working on reigning it in again.

Early out at our school today for conferences today, and since I'm support staff--I get to go home early, and I have a massage scheduled this afternoon--tomorrow is my Birthday, and my therapist offers an extra spoil package for the Birthday--I can't wait to see how that goes.

I have been craving sweets like nobody's business the last few days, and the scale shows it! It will pass though, and the scale will come back to where it belongs.

If you go to the Panera website and visit the page where you can find out the nutrition info for items(nutrition calculator)---there's a link to the hidden menu about the center of the page --a little to the right.

Well, that is funny that you and I were doing the same awful job the same day! Mine are looking good this morning, even though I can't seem most of what I did yesterday (too high on the wall!) I'm waiting for the men to shovel here. I hope they jump right on it when they get home! Enjoy your day off. I, too, worked for schools in my past and enjoyed those little treats. It happens much more often now than it used to, though. Pretty soon we'll be running to our basements at the first sign of a flake!

I don't know a thing about the hidden menu. I'll have to check that out. Your treat in the afternoon sounds really good and fun! Still snowing here in Davenport. Everything is so beautiful! Have a good day!

Hilarious---I started on that same awful job last night in my kitchen--but ran out of time before I had to go somewhere--so it was just a start, and man--you are right about it being really dirty. So many dust bunnies!
I did make it to Panera--ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Power Salad (from the hidden menu)..my first attempt at that--and it was really good--and only 9 points for the whole salad (I track with Weight Watchers) Took home my 99 cent pastry (chocolate) to share with my sweetie, and we had that Sunday afternoon with some tea and cut strawberries. It was delicious!
School is cancelled here today (that's where I work--so I'm off too). Thinking about getting out there and getting at round one of the shoveling :)

March is going well so far. Ate some things not in my normal routine over the weekend, but I think I will be doing that for the long haul. Otherwise, I might get bored and start making those choices during the week. I don't want to do that. It seems to be working alright so far. Today I cleaned the tops of my kitchen cabinets and whatever sits on them. What a horrible job!! I am ashamed at all the dirt and grease I had to plow through! It feels so much better now, though. I can also say, at this moment, that my back, arm, neck and shoulder are not screaming from the activity yet. I hope it stays that way.

Michelle, I hope you made it to Panera and had a good time, along with a good bagel or something else yummy! I think you said you have a bday coming up. I'll be hoping for a great weekend for you!

I hope March is off to a good start for everyone! I've been pleased with the scale and my habits so far--today I have just had a sugar binge this afternoon...but those things happen from time, and I will (have already) track it and move on.
