I signed up for 7-day free trial on the Choose2Lose website. They have very good videos and explanations of the 9 minute missions on that website. I don't know that I will extend my membership beyond the free trial, but I was quite happy to have the missions demystified!
What I'm doing for the 9 minute missions is setting my phone to count to 9 minutes and just plain doing three of the workouts as best I can (with the little breaks if needed) all in a row until I get to the nine minutes. I change which three each day.
Thanks for the index card idea! I found his book super confusing because of all the little moving parts. I have done a week of food without exercise, and this week, I am adding in some afternoon walking (baby shredders).... once I am comfortable with all that, probably after my slingshot week, I will add-in the morning missions, and I need SOMETHING to make it easier to figure out. the Timing, too, is confusing to me.. and I have a baby to tend to in the mornings, so I don't have time to spare on figuring things out as I go.
AWESOME!! that is a great idea!! Having your exercise lay out for the morning and then putting them on right away and doing your exercises!! And good going on making the cards!! Keep on doing this and you will succeed!!
Yes, I'm doing the 9 minute missions. They were confusing, but what I did was make an index card for each mission. The front had the name of the mission and day of the week. On the back I wrote the exercises, the pages in the book where they're demonstrated, and the basic instructions. Making them was time consuming, but its much simpler now in the mornings. I had to make it as easy for myself as possible or I knew I would find a way to back out. I also set out my exercise clothes the night before so I put them on as soon as I wake up- less of a chance I'll slack if I'm wearing them already.
I found the missions make you feel like you've already accomplished something in the day. Lots of luck!!
