The first is the hardest move...eventually you get into a rhythm with it and have it down to such a science that a move literally is like any other day. My dad was Navy...17 schools from K-10th grade for me. Enjoy Christmas though and the drive with hubby and the kids to the duty station.
Audie....like the car but add an E.

Just had my 1st experience this Monday with movers for my 1st PCS! It was ok, they were nice and courteous - but we had stuff at my inlaws where I am living and then the rest of our things were in a storage unit. They had to unpack and repack EVERYTHING in the unit. I understand why, but it made a loooonnngggg day since I had to be there!! Wish I had brought myself a book to read.. I am very glad I got things in the house organized and gathered into boxes so we weren't digging for things amongst my inlaws belongings. I'm looking forward to being in my own place with the hubby and kids and next time I PCS I think I'll be all the wiser :) LOL! I just hope we never have to have a bunch of things in storage in the future.. that stunk.
