With any and all workouts please follow these rules:
1.) If you feel pain, discontinue the movement. If pain persist see your physician
2.) Stay hydrated before, during and after the workout(s)
3.) Modify any move that causes pain or is just too uncomfortable to do.
Last but not least remember: "Quality over Quantity"... it's better to do fewer reps or a shorter workout with perfect form. This will prevent injuries and in the long run, will give you the results you are looking for.
Please don't be intimated by these exercises, anyone can do them... modify, modify, modify... "that's what I do!"...

NOTE: You can use weights, or no weights at all. In fact, if you are a beginner to compound workouts, I recommend that you don't use any weights at all. Believe me you will still feel the workout.
