I'm using mapmyrun.com to track my actual miles traveled, since SP translates my Fitbit steps and I don't want to count all of them for walking to Rivendell, just the ones from actually exercising. When November is over, I'll post the miles I traveled exercising. I'm a little sad because I did something to my ankle a couple weeks ago and now I'm having to not walk or run unless it's necessary...I did do the TD5K race, but now I'm paying for it. :( Swimming for 30 minutes doesn't get you as far as running for 30....
I personally don't track in miles but do minutes as I claim many activities (e.g. yard work - which will be drying up soon) that can not be measured as such. My main workout does include a treadmill workout, so that could be in miles, but I also lift a few weights and obviously that is not.
As a personal goal for November, I hope to hit 600 minutes.
What is this going to be about? Well since we have enough people that a weekly digest is coming out, I'm going to be looking at them and rewarding members of this team with a goodie. and. The first recognition will be spark fitness minutes! for the month of Oct. For November we can decide on a new challenge and goal.
