My neighbour does yoga...that's a lot of stretching, but it must be strength as well, b/c she has a fabulously strong body! I'd just rather garden!

Right now gardening is out for me until my ankle heals, so going to be working on doing these exercises if I can so when I CAN garden, I will be ready.

I've had physical therapy many times over the years and it's funny how about 1/2 the possible things they have you do are technically yoga. Whatever you call it, stretching gently is always good.

Hi I just joined the team and am excited to see there are some other yogi's on here! I am a newcomer to yoga but I have fallen in love with it and try to hit my mat 10 minutes a day! Something about stretching feels so good!

Unless I'm actively doing 45 minutes a day (or more) of heavy-duty workouts, I FORGET to stretch!

Great reminder! I'm trying to incorporate more yoga into my fitness, but for reasons other than gardening. This is a great reminder that we need to be careful when gardening as well, as we DO use different muscles then! Love the yoga suggestions - going to try to do them more often. :)
