I would say that everyone of us started with Sparkpeople because we were looking for support and ways to lose weight/get healthy. Well...I thought it would be nice to expand on that a little by sharing thoughts on what "New Foods" have you tried lately and how did you prepare them?
I think that it is really easy to get stuck in a rut and fix the same thing over and over and over.
Why not try and think outside the box and try something new? Then let us know what new food item you prepared and how did it turn out? My husband and I just recently tried Bok Choy and wow...I want it more often now. It's not only easy to prepare, but it's delicious and healthy. We did a nice light stir fry in "Rice Bran Oil"...added some Bean sprouts and a touch of Soy Sauce and a little BBQ Pork. Yum Yum....and if you haven't heard of Rice Bran Oil...Please look it up. You will be amazed what this healthy oil can do for you and your cholesterol numbers. I'm using it for everything now.
So everyone...let's get brave and try something new and let's see what happens.
Together...We can do it and all get healthy and in an affordable manner! Oh Yeah!
