A few posts back I mentioned that hubby was up for two jobs, and recently I said he didn't get one that he applied for. But today, he got a call very late in the afternoon that he GOT THE OTHER JOB!!!!!
We're in shock. He interviewed for this job like 3 weeks ago and hadn't heard anything at all, just figured he wasn't picked. When the recruiter called and told him, he actually asked her if she was joking or not...LOL
It's a Help Desk Coordinator with the state of NE, but it won't start till March 25th. But so very thrilled that God has provided.
Do not ask "is this good or bad...is this right or wrong for me?"...but instead ask "for where I want to be in the future, is this the WISE choice for me?"

Hubby and I both got notified today...within hours of each other...that neither one of us got the job we applied for. Rather bummed and depressed about that.
I know God has something great for us....just wish He'd show us what it was.

Amen to that!!
Two friends lost their moms and another friend is losing her dad. That last one just lost her husband before Christmas. Pray for comfort for them all.

Hubby has two jobs that he's up for. One he has an interview for on Tuesday, the other is thru a recruiter for the state, and still waiting to hear back on that one. He would love the state job over this other one, so we just need to keep praying that God puts hubby where he's supposed to be.

My eldest DS is a college freshman & hasasked for prayer to help him discern Gods plan & timing for him. He feels called to do missions and yet also to serve in our military. Yes you can do missions in the military and he had thought of becoming a chaplain (& may still consider it if he does not have to perform services that aren't ailing with his beliefs, I.e. same sex marriages)

My praise: I have been told my colon cancer is gone. I have to recheck in April or May of 2013 with another wonderful (LOL) colonoscopy and a CT scan to make sure it stays gone, but that is certainly a praise that HE has healed me.
