INFORMATION ONLY Please ask questions in a New Thread. Thank you
How many times have you started reading a book and find you do not have a bookmark and end up with a slip of paper to mark your place rather than turning down a corner of a page? Well now you can have a new bookmark created by your partner with a theme that will help you keep on track.
Guidelines for making a Bookmark
First the size 2 X 6 inches is a good size no bigger please. Reasonable thickness of card nothing too flimsy. Any Medium is fine mixed media, collage, handpainted/ hand drawn. Glue: make sure any paper added or images added are well stuck down the bookmark will be used. Paint: please make sure the paint will not rub off and spoil the pages of a book. Add danglies and fibers to the end if you want to. This is up to you your making it so do what you feel is right for you. Please No chunky items or embellishments or brads these mark the pages of books You can cover the back with paint or decorative paper. to make it bright and cheerful. Put your name on the back so your partner knows who made their bookmark.
That's it nothing too difficult
A word on Mini Bookmarks These are 2 X 3.5 inches so you have a smaller area to work with but can still create a beautiful work of art. There may be a swap later that will be a mini bookmark swap.
