The details for the September Stash buster challenge
The Challenge will kick off at the stroke of midnight 1, July 1 whatever part of the world you are in It will run from September 1 -30
You will need to do the following ahead of setting up the challenge thread which will be done later. This will be on a separate team. after you have signed up below, I will send you the link for this team closer to the Sept 1 start up date
1. Choose a pattern/patterns you want to work on. It can be anythings, socks, hats, afghans, scarves, shawls, etc. It can be for you , a friend, charity
2 Get your stash together with the pattern (only thing you can do in advance is check your gauge)
3. Sign up on the thread that will be coming saying what pattern you are planning to make, how much yarn you have in your stash
4 Each week you will update how much of your stash for this project you have used up. Edit your thread with that amount You do not need to update the progress of the project you are working on. It's not about the project but the stash It was suggested that instead of doing oz/grams,this time we do the measurement by yards since it would be a fairer way of calculating the amount used. If you can't figure out how many yards your yarn is, let me know and I will locate it for you.
5 If you should finish your project and want to start another, that is ok just remember to update any new stash you are adding in for that project
6 At the end of the month there will be a final talley sheet set up to enter your total results for the month. If you post a picture on your SP page and link it to your thread you will receive a goodie for partipcationS
