Spring is right around the corner, so as weather permits, I am tackling the blackberry bushes that have crept into our backyard. I am determined to reclaim our backyard and getting some good exercise while doing it. emoticon

My challenge for March is to buckle down again before I get too far off track. So back to tracking food and more regular fitness. I'm still within my goal range for weight but only just barely.

My challenge for the month is to rid myself of unnecessary clutter and take stock of what I have and what I truly need! Starting with closets, cabinets, drawers, and moving into the storage rooms. emoticon

My challenge this month is to get the curtains & light installed in my daughter's room, kill the weeds in the front yard and hook up the water hose to the dryer (I'm in France, the dryer has some sort of water collection bottle that has to be emptied every so often, there is a hose I can attach instead that drains the water into the tub).

My challenge this month is trying to eat a healthy salad every day for lunch. I've been doing ok with this, but I've been have a hard time motivating myself to get them ready on Sunday evenings and my Monday lunches tend to be whatever I can grab and bring to work. I could walk to the grocery store next door and buy a salad, but they are so much more expensive than when I make them at home. Plus, I like my salads better anyway.

The garage has been tackled, and continues to be an ongoing project...but it is slowly getting there. As we continue on the journey of doing major cleaning, there is a nice feeling coming over us. If you have a project that you have been dragging your feet on because it may seem overwhelming, just remember...you can tackle it in baby steps. Just think...by taking just one step each day, in 30 days you would have taken 30 steps and you will be that much closer!
So...I encourage all of you that have something you need to tackle, challenge yourself in small increments and before you know it, you will be well on your way!

So...My husband and I have challenged ourselves by changing our eating habits and going with a low carb diet. It's actually a new lifestyle as far as we are concerned and have eliminated all the cheese doodles, cookies and junk food from our home. In doing so, we have focussed on eating more fresh veggies and healthy meats and fish, and have been rewarded by losing 35 pounds in just over 2 weeks between the two of us. Wow!
I challenge all of you to find what works for you and do it! You will be so happy that you did.

gee i would love to see what device we have that needs put down . will look into it and see how much i can save . just as long as it doesnt say it me . today i baked a batch of angel biscuits and a red velvet cake . the biscuits i will put in the freezer . to use the rest of the month .

Well...My husband and I have a new challenge for ourselves this month and that is to lower our power bill. Last month, we were hit with an astronomical bill that left us flabbergasted.
For some reason, we had a major spike. The highest in the 20 years that we have lived here.
So, we have rented a device...free of charge from our power company...that allows us to plug different devices into it, and it lets us know how much power that device actually uses.
This way we can determine exactly which device has gone bad and needs to be put down...ha ha.
If you are curious about your power bill, check with your power company. They may have something available for you like ours did and it could save you hundreds of dollars over the year. Now that is well worth it!!!
I'll keep you posted and let you know what we find out. emoticon emoticon

Doing a much better job cooking meals at home :) & not blowing the budget on eating out! I want to strive and continue this challenge and stay organized in the kitchen by planning meals out ahead of time!

my challenge is just to get up and move!!!!!!!!!! I had motivation all yr and after my son's wedding i justed stopped. I do walk everyday and drink my water. But everything else is just collecting dust!
