Hey, Anita! I live in Oregon, also. In fact,I live in very rural Eastern Oregon where choices are very limited (at least for shopping). We have only Safeway and Albertson's (and a couple of locally owned tiny stores). You are likely referring to the Safeway doublers (up to 50 cents each). You're right, THOSE are super frustrating! If you have Albertson's in your shopping area, try going to fabulesslyfrugal.com. There, a couple of ladies from Meridian, Idaho join up the deals for sale flyers with current coupons. I have saved tons using their site (totally free). I print only what I'll use and cut out all the rest from the Sunday paper (Oregonian....nothing local here like that!) Best of luck! Send me an email if you want more ideas. :)

I'm in Florida. We don't have any stores that offer double coupons. At all. You are very lucky that you can save so much more with those programs!!

By mixing sale prices with coupons, you can save tons of money!

You guys are both awesome! I find it difficult to do that around here. In the area where I live, the only stores that have "double coupons", limit them to no more than .50 cents extra. So even if you have a $1.00 coupon, you can get no more than $1.50 for it.
How do you guys do it? What kind of store do you shop at and what area do you live in?
I'm from Oregon.

I know there are those of you that love to clip coupons and save money galore. Why not post the amount you saved with coupons here and let's keep a running talley for the team and see how much we can save in one month? Are we ready?
