***Just bumping the challenge's rules to the top of the thread so all our new members can see it. We're also going to keep this challenge going until Jan 2nd. With everyone traveling for Christmas or New Year's, that would give time for the new challenge to take effect and any hangovers to cure ;-) After that be ready, we'll be going strong till Valentine's with something new!***
------------------------------------ This is a Holiday To Holiday Challenge starting the day after Thanksgiving (Nov 23rd). Don't worry, I know we're all busy so we're keeping it light. We'll save the hard stuff for Dec 26th.
With this challenge we'll have the daily challenge in this thread. If you feel like you're up for it, check out the Christmas Challenge *BONUS* Thread for our Weekly Challenges starting every Friday.
1) 15 min of Cardio daily. 2) At least 1 fruit or veggie with each meal (3 x's a day) 3) 10 (8 oz) glasses of water daily 4) POST DAILY
You get a point for doing each of these 4 things a day. You get one day's grace period to get the point for posting daily. We'll have Weigh-Ins every Friday in this thread.
So it's easier for me to track points, please make your posts look like this. Include the Christmas tree so I can see the post faster in case we have some of that great supportive chit-chat through the thread! And on Weigh-In Days use the scale emoticon. You'll get a BONUS point for posting on the weigh-in on Fridays. If you're uncomfortable posting your actual weight, just do pounds lost.
Example: Date 1) 15 min walk 2) B- banana, L- baby carrots, D- spinach 3) 12 - 8oz glasses water 4) POST DAILY - 4 points PTD: 12

I seem to be gaining but I'm sure my lack of exercise can attribute to that. My general goal for this month is to keep it at or below 150 lbs. So I need to at least get out there and take some walks around the neighborhood or something. C'mon Santa, bring that treadmill :-)

I didn't do any crunches today but I had a nice long walk w/ a 2 y/o on my shoulders for about half of it. I know what you mean about the exercise, Toby. I need to get with it today and do the Exercise of the Day bonus for good measure. And I need to start doing crunches again. I can tell my tunny isn't as firm as it was a month or so ago. I'm going to write it all on my hand now so I don't forget!

**NOTE** I'll count the points from before and including today, but to earn a point for #2, you have to have atleast one fruit or veggie in EACH meal. This will total atleast 3 fruits or veggies a day. Even if you have 3 veggies with dinner, you still need to have a fruit or veggie with breakfast and lunch. We're doing this to help encourage fruits or veggies into the diet where you may be lacking. Plus fruits and veggies tend to be lower in calories per the quantity you eat as compared to other foods. So you're more full on less calories.
