I am finally getting some consistency in my workouts and eating and seeing some progress. My original goal was 205-195, but then I back tracked up to 208. As of a couple days ago I was down to 204.5 so half a pound gone. Now that I am being more consistent I am going to weigh in again tomorrow when I get up and see where I am.

So glad this one is a longer more gradual goal.

ah! it's been a bad couple weeks for me... i'll admit it. but it can only get better, i hope. bought a new bathing suit, not the one i posted in my blog. a cheaper one, but it's super cute, bikini, tiny... haha. more reason to tone up and shed the last 15 pounds. i can do it!

Since I've already made my ten pound mark, I've considered starting March 1st, shooting for another ten pounds by the end of may... but since I hit kinda a plateu, I will have to do some serious turning up of the heat. But since it's almost spring and I can get outside more, hopefully this won't be a problem! Come on ladies! Let's wear those bikinis this summer!

This is so awesome girls! See how nice it is by setting a lower 10 pound and alot of us are losing it quicker than expect, I have lost my ten, and am working towards my next 10.... if I can lose the next 10 by May, I'll be 5 pounds away from my goal weight!!! Those of you who are not losing as quickly, don't be discouraged, the end of May is still 3+ months away, and once spring kicks in, I bet alot of us will be inside doing spring cleaning and outside doing yard work, extra calories burned! Go girls! Keep it up!

Down a total of 6 pounds since the challenge started! My trainer did my measurements this week as well and I was down 3.5 inches from last month...mostly in my hips and abdomen (and I rarely seem to lose from those spots)! Here's to 4 more, and then the next 10!

Hello ladies! I have officially lost 10 pounds since this started... but, unfortunately, due to this weekend (and probably water weight) I have gained a few pounds back. So, this week, I'm going to work towards losing those already lost pounds, and then focus on my new idea. I want to be in a size 10-11 by April 12th, which is my birthday! And I want to be down 10 more pounds if possible. I can feel the extra stuffing on my hips and thighs slowly disappearing, which is where I have issues fitting into those size 10 pants. I'm a pear shape. haha! But, my hubby is on board too, and he says he wants to lose 20 pounds by summer. So, this next weekend, we will be busy putting our garage gym together finally, doing alot of outside yard work. And we are on our way! Let's go!

Well I made it through the first week back to sparking. I worked out 4 days and stuck to my calories 6 of the 7 days.
1.8 pounds down emoticon
Now on to the next step adding weights to the workout routine.

I have been thinking, with this challenge, we must get reward besides the awesome weightloss. I have look around and have considered to finally buy myself a new bathing suit this year and a nice pair of shorts after I lose the 10+ pounds :)
I have been crossing my fingers for years to wear shorts in the summer... now is my time. I want to enjoy the summer heat with summer clothes on.. Not jeans. What do you ladies plan on doing?

I'm in. In the last year and a half I gained back almost all the weight I had worked so hard to lose. I just joined Planet Fitness and plan to work out four days a week to start and go back on my eat right plan.

I love this! I've actually been looking for a challenge like this.. Im in.. I'm currently 146 and would love to be 136 by May. I will continue to drink 8+ glasses water a day, stay between 1200-1400 cals a day, limit sugar intake, atleast 6 servings of fruits and veggies a day, and do atleast 10 mins of exercise daily... I hope that we all crush this challenge!

Keep up the work ladies! Just in the last week, I've been monitoring my old compulsive eating habits.... and have control at this moment. Resulting in 4 pounds lost in the last five days. I've been sticking to the lower of my calorie intake, eating more protein, and turning up my run/walk routine on the treadmill. Yay! I read something the other day, that if you turn up your work out, whether it be with weights or running, and go a little further (say an extra 30 seconds or 2 more reps) you'll benefit within the next session. And it's true. I went from walking two minutes 3mph/jog on 4.2mph on the treadmill, to walk two minutes 3.5mph/jog 5mph!! sweetness!! Let's do this girlies, look out summer, here we come!!!

Count me in! Sounds like a great goal since I've been in a plateau for a while. I will increase my cardio workouts by at least 60 minutes/week and be more accountable with my eating by trackin my food at least 6 days a week.

I'm in, weighing currently at 156. I have a fractured right now, but I intend to work on more upper body exercises. Also, I aim to do 50 pushups by May. I also want to make strength training a big part of my workout.

Awesome girls! Yes, ten pounds doesn't seem like a lot to some in 5 months, but it's a lower goal to shoot for and easily accomplished if effort is put in.
I will try and continue not to drink alcohol, eating more fruits and vegetables, getting outside more often with my husband and dogs, building my strength on the treadmill with running, and staying around 1,200-1,400 calories a day.
I am currently 174 and would like to be between 164 and 160 by May. :)

Count me in!!!! I have given up soda, junkfood and chocolate. My biggest issues. I am also hitting the treadmill starting Sunday. I really hope to lose 30 by summer but it all has to start at 10. emoticon

I am in. Even if you backslide a little here or there we can all be minus 10 by summer. I started the year at 205 so my goal is 195. This month I am working on the 100 pushups challenge, keeping up my cardio routine and trying to maintain better more accountable eating.

Yes ladies, it has begun, the count down to summer. We are nearly 5 months away from hot weather, meaning less clothing... (well, I'd love to try and wear shorts this year)
The meaning of this challenge, is not to only try to lose 10 pounds by the end of May, but to lose AT LEAST 10 pounds by the end of May. 10 pounds in 5 months can be easy for other, and hard for some. But, let's try and shoot for 10 pounds. My reasoning? Because think of yourself, at the beach, or the lake, walking through sand to find a great spot, wearing shorts, or a bathing suit. Now, think of being at the grocery store and buying a 10 pound bag of potatoes and carrying them to the car. Wouldn't it be nicer to not being carrying around that extra 10 pounds on the beach? I know I'd feel better going into the summer 10 pounds less...
So, here are some guidelines, and rules to this challenge.

#1: Everyone joining us on this 5 month journey, please check into this board and let us know what you plan on doing to obtain your goals for this challenge.
#2: Check in weekly with weekly weighlosses, and how you are doing.
#3: Give advice to others when needed, if you see someone is struggling from the team, speak up and help!

Hope you all participate! And let the summer count down begin!
