I homeschool my children so I do not have that hustle and bustle in the mornings like most do and also, I am a stay at home mom and work from home. We have 3 bathrooms so I do not have the bathroom rush either ! I like the timer idea though !

Is your morning a time of chaos for your self and your children? Or is it a routine that helps everyone day start by following a regular routine?

Here are some things we do to establish a morning routine:

1). Get a timer. Two of my children love to dawdle in the bathroom. So playing beat the timer gets them out much faster in the morning.

2). We have clothes picked out the night before and book bags all ready as well. And all but lunch sandwiches are ready.

3). I check the night before if anything needs to be signed or any money owed for something.

4). To speed things up, showers are done before going to bed.

5). The breakfast table is set the night before and we have our food planned for breakfast.

6). The alarm clock is set so we get up on time.

Please share your ideas for a morning routine.
