I have always been working out since I can remember. Now that I've been a Mom for the last 6 years probably even moreso because I may have lost my mind! Thank God I've never been really depressed for more than a day or so, but I've always known that adrenaline can save you! In the last 6 months, I've upped my fast walk/run to purely run. I run for about 40 minutes outside, but I also go to the gym at least 2-3x's a week and do weights and also have started doing a rowing class at least once a week (although due to kid's camp schedule has slowed down). I want to up the running but I've had orthoscopic (sp?) surgery on my knee and I know deep down that running is probably not good for the body! Our knees were designed poorly I think!
Anyway, would like to bring running to the next level and for now, at least try to run about 15 minutes more when I run. It's just having to squeeze everything else in life in, right?!
