still catching up lol i enjoyed it a lot :) i love Touno's ever changing random personalities and when they explained why he has such drastic personality shifts honestly i can believe that some one would be writing so intensely they take on certain behaviors of their characters. plus it kept you guessing every chapter about what was Touno going to be doing next :p i especially got a lot of laughs out of the mini extra and the "mistress" misunderstanding lol
over all though i like that a lot of it centers around Ikumi coming to terms with liking another man. it wasn't an instant he kissed me and now i am totally down for any thing lol in fact i loved it when Ikumi hit Touno with to pot lid when he first tried to make a move on him most yaoi's the younger character in those moments normally always says "no" and "stop" and such but doesn't truly put up a fight to resist you know they just give in. Ikumi wasn't gonna let it go down like that lol but i do enjoy that the main focus was really that mental and emotional coming to terms with "wow i like another man." and the steps a relationship would have to take when one its something completely new to you, two your a virgin in every since of the word, and three the man you are dating is clearly older and more experienced.

Okay, I finally finished it! It's one of those simple yaoi where one man meets his destined lover, he just doesn't know it right away. In this manga, Ikumi moves into his new apartments and tries to befriend his gruff neighbor, Touno. The initial meetings does not set off any fireworks, but after they slowly become friends, Touno confesses his feelings and implants the idea of being lovers into Ikumi's head.

This manga doesn't bring any revolutionary ideas to the genre, but I think that it's worth a read. It's good to read a story where any obstacles are minor and you can feel good knowing that the guys will ultimately end up happy. It gives you that nice warm and fuzzy feeling.

You may have noticed that it's September and I haven't talked about August's book of the month. That's because I've been busy and I haven't read it yet. However, I have every intention of reading it soon and I hope others do too.

I haven't read that one! Do you recommend it? What's it about?

"Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand." --Margery Williams, The Velveteen Rabbit
