Thanks Sunshine for the link. I have this DVD. It comes with a gym bar and you do the whole workout sitting in a chair. I also used her original routine which you did on the floor that was really good but it is on VHS only. I remember the moves but I am better if I have something to follow along. Thanks for your help!

You are absolutely right Rosalie there is still time today and I am going to get out the yoga mat and practice Greer tonight after I get the kids in the bed.

Yeah those old videos were great. I did really well with them. I have the gym bar and the latest DVD that Greer has out, but I don't think it is as effective as the old videos. I found the old ones online but of course they are VHS. I guess I could find a family member somewhere that may want to sell me an old one. I know the moves and I know what to do, I just need to do it.

I didn't even know about the cds for the car. I'll have to look for those.

I have Greer's book "Be A Loser" and it's very helpful. You can get it on amazon. But I am lucky that I have a tv with a vcr. I guess you can still buy a vcr at thrift stores.

I like watching the BodyFlex videos so much. They're really helping me.

I agree about getting them in DVD's! I no longer have a VCR and the tapes I have a useless because I do NOT remember the moves.

Yes I did, the VHS tapes from the nineties. I wish she would release them in DVD format, I don't have a VHS player anymore. I know the moves and what to do but it makes a difference following along for me. I am more apt to do it than try to do it on my own.

Hey everyone! August is coming to a close. I have been walking, but I am not making much progress. I really need to do the breathing! Why can't I get it in gear? I know I lost so much in the past doing Body Flex in a matter of a few months. I need to start it back up.

So how is everyone doing so far?

Me - I have been checking in with the team every day, getting in some activity, but that has been mostly walking. I think I have done my O! maybe three times so far this month, which is terrible. I know how good it is, why don't I do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the goals! I can't seem to get it through my head that these simple breathing exercises are so effective.

And yet, when I am consistent with my BodyFlex practice I have amazing results. Hmmm.

So here's to all of us accomplishing our August goals.

Consistency is my downfall. Here it is 9:30 pm and I haven't done anything exercise-wise. So Oxycise! 3 times a week. I'll check in every day to see if I have done it. Sometimes I just can't do the standing exercises, let alone the floor, so I will do the Office Oxycise! 3 Great downloads. 6 minutes each.

Since I'm trying to be consistent with Oxycise! again then that will be my goal for every day.


I listened to a lecture recently that said goals are easier to achieve if you make it too easy. (Of course there was more said about it but that was the crux of the matter.) So, I think I am going to keep it simple.

1. Log into Spark People every day

2. Huddle with my team every day

3. Do O! or BF every day

4. Get in at least 30 minutes walking every day

For August, let's practice consistency! What will you be consistent with this month???? Logging into Spark, doing your favorite exercise, getting in your water???????

Make some goals for the month, just one or two, or more if you like and post at the end of the week how you did!
