Yep, you got it! emoticon This is a view of Usery Park, the shot was taken near the beginning of the Wind Cave trail very near the cattle-type fence you have to pass through. The sky really throws me off as I always feel I'm in another state on the rare cloudy days here.

Here is Christina's prize: emoticon

BTW, if anyone has a pic they'd like to be considered for a future month, please be sure and let me know.

Also, the Wind Cave trail is a great workout and it's a wonderful view of the east valley when you get up there; however, do be very careful of the huge wasp's (hornet?) nest that is on the overhang of the cave (cliff).

Oh yeah, one more thing, if you decide to go past the warning sign once you reach the cave, please don't do so alone. It really gets rough very soon after that point, going up as well as down.

Then it's got to be somewhere in the Usuary Park area... :)

I'm sorry, no, but here's another hint for you all: if you were standing in this pic, you'd be able to see the big Phoenix arrow emblazoned into hillside.

Nope, sorry but here's a hint: it's not that far east. Please try again. :)

Thought it might be fun to see how well our members know the East Valley. I will be posting a new photo every so often (at least once a month) and giving everyone an opportunity to identify it.

We can start with the present photo which I took last January; it is the team photo at the top of our page. emoticon This one was taken last January near the end of a hike. Can anyone guess the location?
