Hi Kirsten,

I am new to Sparkpeople and am glad to have found this forum and thread! I am learning Japanese through DS games, books and websites. I will have to look on my tablet to see if I can type in Kanji and Kana. I do have an app to reccomend and a program for the computer. The app is Obenkyo and the program is by Byki. I would love to be able to "speak" with someone in Japanese! :-)

I wanted to create a post that people can talk in Japanese I guess similar to a language exchange.

I am also going to include some websites that I have been using to study Japanese

Beginner:
www.busuu.com
www.japanesepod101.com
www.erin.ne.jp/en/
keyholetv.jp/english/index.html

Intermediate:
Lang-8.com
japanese.about.com/ (This could go for both beginner and intermediate, I use it mostly for grammar points)

Expert:
Ameba.jp
