My favorite dog product is the Easy Walk Harness. With all the walking and running Jasper and I do, this product has made it so much easier for me. He's getting better about not pulling on the leash, but he doesn't pull at all when he's on this harness. It was recommended, and fit, by our trainer.
I am looking for a bowl for long eared dogs. I found one call no ears in here but it only comes in a 2 cup water size. I have a beagle that is always getting ears wet and we are adopting a blood hound so looking for something better that what I have.
Being strong isn't something you choose to do, it's something you're forced to do when being weak isn't an option!

Ohh, I love this topic and having worked in a pet store for two years could probably go on for forever about my favourite products!
@Seltzer: There are lot of great toys out there on the market for dogs who are really tough chewers. Beyond the black kong line, I've had some success with the Tuffy Ocean Creature brand. These can often be found in small mom&pop dog stores, and have the positive aspects of being both a soft chew toy and durable. The lobster is definitely the most durable of the designs. For tough balls, a lot of the solid JW balls are incredibly durable.
Beyond this, I think my biggest dog product rave is for Instinct Raw food One of my dogs was always overweight and had serious health complications from it (and his genes) before he was 10, and putting him on this food has made the biggest difference. He slowly and healthily lost the extra 15lbs he had and actually had a noticeable increase in not only energy but general health (fur, eyes, teeth.. you name it). Our other dog has definitely benefited from it as well. This is a fairly pricey product (luckily, I still get discounts from the pet store I worked at), but I'd definitely say it was worth it if you can afford it and has saved us hundreds in vet's bills.
I loved reading all of your recommendations!

Have you tried the black Kong toys? They are pretty tough. Also deer antler chews hold up pretty well and most dogs love them.

Good Morning,
Wanted some advice from everyone, I need some new toys for my puppy. He is 9 months old and 72 lbs and the little guy chews through every single toy I have gotten him. Does any one have some suggestions for some durable toys I can try ? The poor guy has nothing to play with again .

Booster Bath - best money I've ever spent! My dogs hate the shower, and my back hated it too. This tub is awesome - makes it so easy to bathe the dogs, I never have to worry about letting them get dirty!!!

I just bought a FURinator this weekend because my dog is shedding so much undercoat. I have been using it every day since I got it and I am pulling gobs of undercoat hair! That is my latest FAV!

That sounds like an interesting tool...Where did you find it? Do they have a website?
Thanks!

I love the spring-loaded pooper scooper. It did take awhile to get used to, though...the dogs didn't want to sit still through the instructional dvd that came with the scooper. It was worth the time and money, though because now I can just sit back on the porch drinking mai tai's while they do their business and then they just love using that scooper. It turned a chore into a fun game now they race each other to it after they potty. They're so competetive! Just like sisters. I probably should have bought two so they wouldn't fight so much....Oh well, it's good training for when they go out into the real world.

My hubby and I love Blue Buffalo dog food and treats. Our dogs' coats are shinny and there are variety of flavors to choose from. Plus the ingredient list is great!

My beloved little Pollywog had cataracts that started to form probably the last year of her life. We were going to have cataract surgery done on her until we found out how unbelievably expensive it was and that the recovery time was months. We thought there wasn't anything else we could do until my DH started looking on the internet to see if there was something else we could do. We found these drops that have been used on humans and animals called Brite Eyes III. They have an ingredient in them called N-acetylcarnosine. They said that the effect is basically like melting snow. We tried them on Pollywog and they really did work!! She went from not being able to be outside during the day because the sun would make her jerk her head to being able to be outside with very minimal disturbance to her eyes. Before we could only walk her at night after just a month we could walk her during the day. She was only on the drops for a month and a half, maybe two months before she passed but they definitely helped. I would recommend them for people or pets!!!

I just realized I don't have the ThunderShirt on this list. I don't think I could help Gypsy without it. It really helps her get through storms and 4th of July (I'm in Indiana - fireworks are legal, enough said?!?).
I also found a new use for it with one of my training clients. She has a Pittie with very sensive skin. The dog wears it under her harness and in the back yard. It protects her belly and chest from the grass and she is losing the wear marks from the harness!

Those hooves that they give dogs....they are great for chewing for bigger aggressive dogs.

Kong bones (the black one) and deer antler are great for aggressive chewers. Kong is the only thing that can hold up to Tazzy.

Actually, I'm looking for advice. My dog is very rough on his toys and will never have another stuffed toy, because he destroys them immediately. I have one rubber bowling pin toy that squeaks, and he can't get those apart. Anyone have any suggestions on toys for really aggressive biters?

I love puzzle toys too. We feed Tazzy out of a Kong Wobbler. That thing is indestructible. Keeps her quite entertained too!

I love this toy from doggyloot that is a tree trunk stuffed thing with stuffed squeaky squirrels hidden in it that the dog can "dig" out and play with......

I'm going to start with thread off with my favorite walking harness - the Easy Walk by Premier! I love the way this harness works to keep even the largest dogs from pulling too hard. The harness is easy to fit. Once fitted properly, it works well and doesn't cause problems for the dog.

What are some of your favorite doggie products? From harness and collars to beds and crates or toys and tools - what do you have that's worth barking about.
