Well as this month comes to a close I did change things up a little. Did less outdoor walking and not as much indoor exercise as I should have. But somehow still managed to do 1118 minutes of fitness for the month. Next month I promised myself to get back into the swing of things even in between my projects.

I have had a rough week though with going camping and all the remodeling under way at my house. I ate to good (bad stuff) and had some drinks and did not exercise like I am use to. Did have fun paddle boating though. I put on a few pounds and working on getting them going back in the right direction. Staying positive and moving forward..

So far this month I have track 650 minutes of exercise. Have change things up a lot. I know I have done more but haven't tracked. I have been painting, climbing up and down ladders, stools, chairs, reaching, stretching, bending, lifting, moving furniture, boxes, tools. This past weekend I went camping and did a hike and had a blast paddle-boating. Lifting and carrying good sized heavy rocks. Yes I said rocks, I know your thinking I'm crazy but I found lots of beautiful rocks that will work great for a project I am doing so I collected about a dozen and a half with only being able to carry 1-2 at a time. I think I need to rest. I am so sore all over. As they say no pain no gain..

SO FAR HAVE LOGGED 424 FITNESS MINUTES FOR THE MONTH OF SEPT. HAVE CONTINUED TO TRACK NUTRITION AND FITNESS (BARRING ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY COMPUTER). AM TRYING TO GET PROPER REST. SO, I WOULD SAY, SO FAR; SO GOOD THIS MONTH. GO TEAM!!!

Weekly check-in:
I am beginning to recover from my cold. So back on the treadmill I went. I feel like I have lost a bit of speed and stamina-I only managed 25 minutes and not-quite 1.5 miles. I also had to stop for a coughing fit.
However, later in the day, I was down at the park for a birthday bbq and lo-and behold! The bathrooms were either a .5 mile roundtrip for one set or a .75 mile roundtrip for the other set. I managed to use both. ;) As well as another .5 mile stroll around with my DH and niece. Oh and about 60 minutes of frisbee. (I have bruises to explain at work tomorrow) So I guess I was feeling a little better. And now I have those delicious aches in my thighs that mean I am getting healthier. Yay!
I'm being good with the nutrition tracker too.

September 1st, I read the articles and I am ready to make this a fantastic month for me.
I'm currently sick with a cold (fast moving evil summer cold) so exercise is out for a little bit while I recover. Even so, I should be able to meet 700 fitness minutes without any trouble when I add in the strength training I had been lacking.

Thanks for the suppport and praise. Make sure to give yourself some props too! You are more than halfway to goal Kelly-- emoticon

You've mastered the tools on Spark and you're using them, accurately, on a consistent basis. You are seeing some serious positive results; however, you've reached a plateau. It's time to change your routine to push through the plateau.

1. Read the 3 articles below:
