Yeah, the humidity is a killer. I start off hiking the trails and keep a small towel saturated with water and place it around the back of my neck... Since you're running, try to hit it really early in the morning to avoid the massive bugs that are out late in the evening.

Is anyone else having trouble with the excessive heat?? I have not been able to run at all, just walk. Today when I finished my 3.5 miles it was 100 degrees exactly! at 11:15am!
Just wanted to say way to go everyone!

Since I consistently walk 4-5 miles (at least) on work days I threw out my pedometer. Intentionally walking I've done 12 miles so far this month.

7 more. 19 so far

7-21: 2 miles, 21 total
7-22: 2 miles, 23 total

Doing my 2nd 5k ever today at the MLB All-Star 5k to benefit several Cancer causes. I won't be able to run the whole thing, but I will probably do more than half of it run/jogging.

I want to do 20 miles in July!!

I figured out how to track my steps, but can't get it to track my miles. It's set up to track miles, but I don't seem able to enter them. Might be a computer/iPad thing.
