I weigh myself several times a day. I'm not fussed if it's up some cos I know weight flunctuates. I am the mother of a wrestler who had to weigh himself several times a day, and for me, I just find it interesting to see how a cup of coffee or glass or water, or a meal affects the number.
I love when that number hits a new low, but it doesn't determine my mood. It's just a scale

I also cross my fingers, but I look forward to the scale when I'm trying to lose weight. When I lose, it gives me motivation to keep going! I can't wait to weigh in next week. I only weigh in once a week though and always when I first wake up.
