I do the Galloway program where you walk/run. It has helped me sooo much. I am currently having a front hip issue thought that's making me a little nervous. I'm running tonight so we will see how it goes. It doesn't hurt while I'm walking around only when I first get up and get started. I'm not sure what that means. If it continues I'll be headed to the Dr.

I've been having some foot issues also Ive just been feeling tired when I try to run. out of breath and I've had to stop and walk I don't know what's going on. I've been finding it very discouraging.

Well I plan on doing the next one as well, all 5 in the series. You would be well trained and could take it slow (= no injuries) if you continue to train for next years Space Coast 1/2 emoticon

I was supposed to do the half marathon it would've been my first one ever but we did not get Registered in time. emoticon

Thank you for the encouragement. There are tons of 5 Ks around the Space Coast, by the way. They are fun to do and you can meet some great people. If you are interested in getting 5 K ready, I would highly recommend the Couch to 5 K and Jeff Galloway walk/run programs. Best wishes and best of luck in your journey. :)
