I had my mammogram last month, normal, thank goodness.
I had my mammo a few weeks ago. First time I got to sit down during the exam, making it more comfortable.
Finished: Walt Disney World Marathon, January 13, 2013.

Finished: Orange Blossom Half and 5K, March 3, 2013
Finished: Divas Half, N Myrtle Beach, April 2013
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I challenge you to become diligent with your own detection. Get your physicals. Do self-check exams. Get mammograms as often as your doctor suggests. Fortunately, today's technology is faster and more thorough.
Yes, if this type of cancer runs in your family you are more prone towards it. However, AGE also moves the possibility for each of us closer to it.
My city is having a Women's Only Run/Walk this Saturday. This year, 26 girls from my martial arts group are participating.
A dear friend of mine had been detected and is undergoing radiation therapy. This has more meaning than ever.
