In order to impact the # of miles tracked, you have to click "add mileage" and enter your stats there. If you are on a treadmill, that's given... IF you have a smartphone or other device that can handle an app like RunKeeper, you can gather the stats from there. If you have a route you travel in your neck of the woods, you can map your route (via add mileage) and gather the distance there. I hope this helps clarify things. Thanks for asking!

I joined the team goal but I have a question: are my miles tracked via the fitness tracker if I just enter that I jogged 45 minutes @ 4.5mph? In the past, I haven't seen my mile tracker increase when I logged minutes that way. I'm just trying to make sure the team gets the mile credit!

Hello...I'm not a "runner" but I will pledge 10 miles (via the treadmill...LOL) by the end of next week....I will join the team goals....

@-Paula, thanks for your commitment to this goal. I just completed 5.08miles with BGR, I'm in a 5K tomorrow (3.1miles), and I lead a group on Monday for another 5.08miles... so that's even more than the 10miles I initially pledged.

Our team goals can be found at the bottom of the team page. Click "join goal" to join the goal and then click 'track goal' to log your mileage on the fitness tracker.

So, once you are on the fitness tracker, look for the section that says "Mileage Tracking" and click add mileage. From there, you will get a screen where you can indicate the distance you ran/walked and the amount of time for the activity. Click save and the system does the rest; it will automatically add your mileage to the team goal.

If you have any other questions, let me know & I'll gladly address them. Thanks for being willing to join the goal.... sounds like you will contribute a lot of miles towards our progress. emoticon

I have on my training plan a 9 mile run scheduled for tomorrow. Then a 3-mile walk with a couple BGR on Sunday morning. My local group 3 miles on Wednesday. I pledge at least that many. emoticonemoticon

I'm down but I'm new so I haven't quite been around the boards yet to learn the various challenges, etc. How do I log my miles? I usually complete anywhere from 3-5 miles a day so I can definitely contribute.

79 miles stand between us and making our monthly mileage goal. There are 37 of us as of today... we are a small team, but we are mighty and we are Black Girls who RUN! We are SO close.... 79 miles stand between us and 100%. We can cover 79 miles before the end of the month. Here's how we can do this:

If every team member joins this goal AND every team member completes AT LEAST 2.1 miles between today and August 31st, we will have this goal in the bag. Some of us have completed the miles, according to yoru activity feed & blog.... but you have yet to join the goal or track the miles.
