Mainly the 14 foods listed in the book Superfoods RX and the additional foods mentioned in the second book which I can't think of the name. (I loaned it to my daughter.)

I think any healthy food is welcome though.

Frozen hulled edamame only takes a couple of minutes to cook in the microwave. I tried it for the first time today. I liked it a lot plain, but I also made a sauce with a little Smart Balance peanut butter, lemon juice, and enough water to get the right consistency. I poured that over the edamame and had a very tasty, nutritious snack in just a few minutes. emoticon

This is a FANTASTIC Idea!

My favorite snack is to take a couple table spoons of Grape Nuts cereal and mix with YOGURT. I like the crunch in my YOGURT and extra grain. Plus it's cheaper (and healthier???) than buying YoCrunch.

It would be a great idea for us to each offer mini meal suggestions which incorporate some of our favorite "Superfoods". They can be for anytime during the day, for example, lunch time or mid-day. One of my favorites: 2 T.hummus with jarred roasted red peppers and a "stacker" pickle slice with shredded lettuce in one half of a multi-grain pita with 4 oz. grape juice could be one "mini-meal". Each meal should be approximately 250 calories. What do you think?
