my goal for today is to:
1. calculate nutrition before i eat, not after.
2. catch up on invoicing for march.
3. update quicken before it stops working at the end of the month.

My goal for the day is make healthy food choices. This is so hard to do at work with the food choices they offer. I work at a casino and we have a mini buffet in our break room with food that is fried or sitting in grease! Even the cooked veggies they soak in butter! So, I need to stick to the salad and fruit bar. Also eating dinner before I go to work helps me stay away from all that terrible food!

Today, I am being gentle with myself. I have a migraine coming on. I've tried napping it away and taking pain meds but it seems determined to get here. Thankfully beforehand I swept the floors and got some housework done.

My goal for the day is to consume healthy foods, no junk.

It is my intention to consume foods that will help me by feeding my body with fuel that is good for me and not detrimental, food that helps propel me towards my overall goal of good health and well being.

Wonderful affirmation! Thank you for sharing!

I have two things that I try to live by:

Ghandi's "Be the change you wish to see in the world"
Basically, if I want things to change, I have to make it happen. I have to take that first step, make that first move and be a driving force. Others may or may not follow, but I know that I am living my life with integrity and doing my best.

I can do it!
I think it was Yoda who said there is no try, just do or do not. And the Little Engine That Could -- I think I can, I think I can. I just make it stronger and believe in myself. I can do anything I set my mind to.
