Is doing VERY well each day eating my fruits and veggies and getting my cardio and strength training! I've been walking an average of about six miles per day, up to 8 and then my hip cried out and I've taken it easy today and only walked about two miles.
I'm also breaking in some new athletic shoes and as they don't cushion the heel like my old runners, that could have a nasty *impact* on my hip. All the more reason to back off a bit. My hip is so much better today, already!
I've been feeling human again for about a week after about four weeks of terrible respiratory illness and have a ton of catching up to do here at home and even in my work. My priority is my family/home and my health and fitness, so I get the time I need for that but sure don't get a lot of time for posting. Doing what I can and starting to feel fabulous!!! I'm out of work in about six weeks, and then I'll have more time to post, depending on what my next adventure is! It will hopefully include a trip back to Southern Ontario to visit family and friends! That will also depend on dh's job and pay! His mom just put a lovely monetary gift in our account and I'd love to see dh and the kids use that money to get back to visit his mom. She's not doing so well - perhaps partly failing to thrive with how much she misses us. :-(
I've also gotten our 14yos out walking each day! He needs the exercise and we enjoy the time together! :) One more thing to keep me away from the computer and needs to be done!
