5. had a nice salad at lunch with a dressing made of apple cider vinegar, olive oil, and a little maple syrup. the salad had a lot of cut up veggies, a few walnuts, then I topped it with blue berries and grapes, and a little avocado.

I got a lot of things done over the weekend...mowed the lawn again with Michael on my back...what a workout. cook a bunch and prepped foods for the week...my feet were killing me by the end of the day Saturday...so Sunday I did more lounging...hubby starts the new job tomorrow night, so the real fun will begin soon.

I'm so looking forward to TKD tomorrow, I WANT to get my exercise!! I am drinking water today, and had a healthy breakfast of fresh juice. Took my vitamins. Ate loads of fruits and veggies (in the juice!).

I took Tony to see the Huntsman. The special affects were awsome but I think I was expecting a lot from it, so was a little disappointed..no matter, because Brave comes out at the end of the month and I have a free ticket! =)

Today:
1. I didn't stay in yesterday because I was HUNGRY in the pm and had raw cashew butter with 2 apples, sliced, but I don't think that is going to keep me from losing. Today I did better, stayed with just my fruits and veggies. I'm hungry though, can't wait for my evening smoothie. As soon as I get home, I'm BLENDING!
2. 16 fruits and veggies today. Wow.
3. Exercise for 30 minutes or more. No TKD today so going to dance.
4. Drink 8+ cups of water. Already there
5. floss everyday. After supper!

It DOES feel good, and it all starts coming together, the self care, the affirmations, the pep talk, and after a couple months you start feeling like you are SOMEBODY! because your health and well being are as important as anyone else's and they are YOUR job! (that has been my life saver, that affirmation!)

Today:
1. Stay in my calorie range. No problem, I have my meals planned out and I'm sticking to them today!
2. Twelve fruits and veggies. So far I have 9, I don't think the other 3 will be any problem because I'm having a fruit/veggie smoothie for supper.
3. Exercise for 30 minutes or more. Tae Kwon Do (30 min of actual exercise), strengthening 35 minutes
4. Drink 8+ cups of water. Already there
5. floss everyday. Tonight after supper, it's a habit now and I've only forgot once in the past 30 days!

1. floss my teeth

3. tae kwon do plus strengthening exercises
4. I'm aiming for 12 fruits and veggies
5. Follow my meal plan--this is the hardest one!

Accomplished today:
1. flossed

3. hips hurt so much I didn't exercise

5. didn't follow the meal plan, had pizza and cookies instead (emotional eating)

Hmmm...I am a bit stressed out these days and life has gotten the better of me...again...so I need to refocus and find ways to handle the coming stress of being on my own with the boys most of the time and supporting my hubby while he works 2 ft jobs to make our dreams a reality. Just looks a little dreary right now!

What I have been doing lately:
1. Reading Reina's inspiring posts!
2. Walking the dog regularly.
3. Taking vitamins
4. Getting organized and using planner

I have now lost 1 pound since we started.

Planning:
1. To follow our Team's challenge for April -but I have to do this in May,(the Menu planning), along with the new May challenge when I find out what it is!
2. Get a better attitude and start looking for the positive things I am doing.
3. Post regularly
4. Declutter
5. Organize office
6. Get my incentives/rewards set up. I am really liking Reina's charm idea .. maybe with a bracelet or charm necklace.

I am seeing a really clear pattern about what I have mastered and what I don't do yet. I intend to work on these weak areas, in the coming months. I'll probably take one issue at a time though. I'm a work in progress! =)

1. I am still eating lots of fruit and green vegetables.
2. Exercise: This has been long walks with the dog. I fell out of my routine of training for the 5K, and I'm not sure I'll even do it even though I paid for it.
3. Sleep: I have been taking 5-HTP the last two nights, and for some reason it seems to help.
4. Water: about 4-5 cups.
5. Print out menu planner, and plan out menus with the Ultramind solution.

Do you ever just wake up and everything seems right with the world? That happened this morning only after two days of bleh.
I am most proud that I:
1. Went to the track and continued with my training plan: Session2 (3 min jog and 2 min walk for 30 min). I am happy that I got it done because I have been pushing this to the very end of the week and playing catch up.
2. Had a fruit smoothie with protein powder, flax seed, pears, blackberries, almonds, and flax/borage oil.
3. Listened to an inspiring podcast about loving myself

1. I had a healthy breakfast, and included a serving of fruit
2. Ate a big leafy salad for lunch with tomatoes, cucumbers, and lots of lettuce with my supper, and supper was a garden scramble so lots of veggies--9 servings for the day
3. stayed within my calorie range
4. did a GREAT upper body workout plus an hour of taekwodo
5. I got about 8 1/2 hours of sleep last night.
6. I did some reading for stress control =)
7. I drank about 7 cups of water

This is a challenge to take the best possible care of yourself, inside and out. The goal is to provide yourself with the same loving care you would give to your child. Use this thread to post your "Daily 5":

1. Feed yourself well: a nutrient-dense diet rich in veggies and fresh fruits, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthful fats. It has to be beautiful and delicious, and you must give yourself enough time to eat it in peace. Aim for at least 5 fruits and veggies a day. Aim for more!

2. Allow yourself enough time for exercise, everyday. Any exercise counts as long as you break a sweat. This has to be something you actually enjoy doing and have fun at.

3. Make sure you get enough sleep. Make a set bedtime for yourself and make it sacrosanct. How can you create the life you truly want if you are exhausted and worn-down?

4. Do something everyday to improve your stress-response. It can be meditation, yoga, journaling, relaxation exercises, or anything that helps you maintain your equilibrium.

5. Drink enough water to stay fully hydrated. Aim for 8+ cups a day.
