If we saw all the difference even the tiniest of our prayers make, and all the people those...prayers were destined to affect...we would be so paralyzed with awe...that we would be unable to get up off our knees for the rest of our lives. —Peter Kreeft, author

I posted in another forum about having discovered I lost 2.5" overall. I must admit that I have been struggling....partly becasue I have a residual injury from a car accident and it's been slow going getting back to healthy again in terms of my arm use, let alone the rest of me.
I've had a recent doctor's visit (my physical had been back in January) and he hadn't phoned me about my blood results....because it's all fantastic. He didn't tell me until August because he only phones about bad news. I was in in August and mentioned my Dad had died of a massive heart attack and of course heart disease is on my mind....pretty much everyone in the family has died of something or other heart related.
I'm slowly getting back to exercise. I found that after Dad died, I just didn't have the energy to go work out, even when I wanted to. Or, I'd want to and have the energy but then have an emotional breakdown and don't want to go to the gym crying.
But I was pretty excited to measure last night (even though it had only been 2 weeks since I'd last done it) and found myself down 0.5 waist, 1 hips, 0.5 thigh, 0.5 arm.
