There hasn't been any activity on this thread for a while but maybe posting my weight progress might bring it back to life. I've never found that getting up in age (btw, I'm a baby boomer), has made any difference in slowing down my weight loss WHEN I follow my plan. It's when I DON'T, that things go backwards or come to a halt. I'm going to brave it out and start logging my progress each week. Like I said, if there's ever a lack of progress, it's of my own doing. I'll weigh in tomorrow and make it a weekly thing OR perhaps whenever there's progress. I hope others will join me. :)))

On 8/26/2016 my weight was another 1 lb down! Now working on next weeks loss.

On 8/31/2016 I lost another 1 lb. WooHoo!! two in one week.

I've been so busy with other activities on Spark, I forgot about this challenge. Tomorrow will make two weeks, I'm three pounds lighter and proud of staying with my plan even though I celebrated my birthday four days ago.

Congratulations on losing your weight. I lost 50 # maintained for a year. Dr put me on a med that has caused me to gain some back. It is so difficult to lose the extra pounds.

Well I did lose my pound this week and it's not as easy as it seems...hummmm

On another note ; this month (march 17th) is my one year aniversay of losing weight and I have reached my goal - lost 30 pounds! My next goal is to lose another 30 pounds in a year which is 7.5 pounds per 3 months. I feel my goal is achievable and reasonable. I can do this slowly but also keeping it off. Every month I see a decrease

I have integrated exercise - cardio - to my program and I have lost 5.38 inches - waist, hips upperarm and thighs - in the last 6 weeks and also have lost 6 pounds in that same time that is since I started on Spark People. I may reach my goals faster than I think at that rate - LOL

This month I will be looking at my eating habits and drinking that water! Always work in progress to achieve this gigantic goal iof losing that extra 100 pound off my back!

Wow ShoreIDO that sweet and sour soup sounds good! We went out for Chinese smorg for Chinese New Year's today and I am way over on calories but not gonna sweat it. I've recently lowered by objective of losing 1 lb. per week to 1/2 lb., mainly because I've increased my exercise, and seem to be swapping fat for muscle tone. I will go back to 1 lb. for this challenge. I currently weigh 210 and will weigh and record it each Sunday AM.

New to this thread... will join you all.

My weigh-in at TOPS this week Wednesday was 194.5 (7/31)

....a little history....
been at it for a little over 5 months. I'm 'almost' to my half way point...boy um bad at arithmetic...heehee, I'm now 45 lbs down but waiting till my TOPS weigh in. I should almost be half way by my birthday maybe...the 19th. Would be a great present to myself this year.

re-joining the challenge its help when I track my food and weigh in each week my goal for the next six week is to lose 6-7 pds.
