Normally at church dinners I have a small-medium helping of almost everything and 3-4 small helpings of dessert so I can tell everyone how good their contribution was. Well yesterday I had small helpings of several things and only ate half of each, then only one dessert! I asked someone to save me a few small pieces of several of the remaining desserts so that I can enjoy it a little at a time through out the week. Then I told them where the take out containers were and told them I don't want much of anything left for me to take home.
I did have one more dessert before going to bed last night. Just a small one.
So much good food, and I ate just a little of most of the things I REALLY like. I did so much better than I expected.
I will make it to my goal!

2 of my 3 pairs of jeans are so loose I have trouble keeping them up, don't have a belt that fits, the third pair is starting to get holes at the corners of the pockets, so . . . . going to my favorite second hand stores tomorrow to find a couple that will last through the next couple of months. Might even find a new skirt or two. For some reason though haven't lost much at all on top so I don't need to buy any new tops, yet. . . .

Today's running workout was great, I not only did it faster than ever getting 3 miles done in the 32min workout, ( that's 11 min miles) but I also forgot to adjust the intensity level down to my running level so did 3/4 of it at level 8 instead of level 4. I will finish this workout before the end of May.

I lost another inch on my hips and half inch on my waist. Tried on jeans the next size down, they should fit in another week or so- the newer pair is not stretch denim like the ones I've been wearing, if they were I could probably wear them now.

Only draw back is I've lost faster in my hips so my waist to hip ratio is worse than when I started 2 months ago. Guess I need to start doing more core type exercises maybe that will help....

I had two people come up to me at Church( same day) and ask how much weight had I lost ! I guess its good that they noticed but the sad truth is I have struggled for over a year now with the same 5 pds but I think by keeping it off and not regaining that my weight has " shifted" around and I still look different !

I did a 12 minute mile today. Actually 3 of them in a row. My rookie running program had me run/ walk for 30 minutes then I did a 10 min cool down, when I got to 3 miles it was at 36 minutes! emoticon

I drank 8 8oz water/non carbonated/calorie free liquids today!!!
first time ever! Bet I won't sleep very well though, running to the bathroom every hour or so.

well I am in shock but after 4 weeks of doing the strength training I did a 30 second plank today !! WOO HOO for me .... I am so excited ... this may not be much to some of you but I have never done this stuff and I am thrilled with my progress !! Now to do a 1 minute one !! LOL ! Jillian says should be able to by 3months !

NSV today completed a virtual 5k on the elliptical, then cooled down for another .7 mi . One hour work out!!! Burning calories right and left today.

NSV: sort of....lol My hubby works in camp so he is gone for 2 or 3 weeks and then home for 1 or 2 weeks I usually gain weight while he is home and lose it when he is away last week he was home and I didn't gain weight....didn't lose any but didn't gain

My NSV this week is I did an unofficial measuring this morning before church and lost 1 1/2 - 2 inches in each of bust, waist, and hips in just 3 weeks since I last measured, before starting the diet and increasing the intensity of my workouts. emoticon

wow this week is back to the plan after the holidays and all the snack foods, cheeses, and chocolates. I have written my food and water and tracked it all this week except for one day and I am proud to be back on track so that is my NSV for this week !!
