305.4 today. Down a half pound from yesterday. Since this is monthly water retention gain week for me, (and my normally loose wedding ring is quite tight) I'm wondering how much weight loss the pms water retention is hiding. Usually, it's 5-8 lbs, so I'm expection a "whoosh" in about 7 days.

Losing ANYTHING during this week is "bonus."

Hello Everybody!
I just joined the TSD group today, and have weighed in, etc. for the first time this morning. So depressing to see those awful numbers, but feel confident that they will do nothing but go DOWN. This looks like a wonderful group of supportive people. I'm glad to have found you all!

My first day went well. I slept kind of late, so got started late. Two shakes, two entrees, five servings of fruits/veggies. I did not feel hungry between meals. Here's hoping!

Hello ladies...

I have to say that December was very rough for me !! OUCH !! I started out with a terrible head cold and then I had some family drama and then I went totally off my diet with not food tracking, no work outs , and engaged in ( schreech)........ mindless eating !!! OH NO!! say it isn't so !! Yes.... Havent' done that all year and here it was... the big the bad and the ugly !!
so I gained 5 pounds and now am up 5 pounds from my yearly low weight !
At least I ended the year with a loss but I am disappointed that I reverted back to bad
behavior !
I am done being this weight
I will weigh less in 2013 and I will work toward this !

Hope everyone is doing well and has an on program day !

hey everyone I hope you all are doing alright and hanging in there !
I have been so sick with a cold and not doing the best with the diet ! I eat well 3 days and not so well for 4 therefore I am losing and gaining the same pounds !! I hope to get back in my groove after the holidays but in the mean time I am hanging on and tryingnot to GAIN too much or two weeks in a row !! How HORRIBLE is that ?????? December is just plain KILLER for me !! 3 birthday partys and 6 xmas parties and all the extra food everywhere and I try to eat just a bite !!
I WILL NOT GIVE UP........ I DO NOT LIKE being this weight !!

how is everyone doing. I have a sick grandson here, and I have him quarantined off and masked myself and spraying disinfect on dishes, etc. as I cannot have dh getting sick from
this. Grandson's mom had it and still sick somewhat...it is mainly fevers. I feel kinda protected
as the dentist put me on 5 days antibiotics because of my heart for the root canal next Tues.
I have never had this done, and quite nervous to say the least. Please pray for me to be calm.

I have not been doing the best eating or exercising. I try to start off eating right, and then I end
up eating a piece or two of Jakob trick or treat candy. Now all the chocolate is used up, and it
just the sours left...yuck...so it will not tempt me now. Funny dh has these huge bags of hershy nuggets in the fridge and they do not tempt me a bit.
Nevertheless, I did drop a couple pounds in the past few weeks and I see I am within a pound
of reaching my set goal. I was surprised as I did not deserve it. I actually quit thinking for the
most part about dieting since it is a bad time of year to be too strict. One thing may be helping
is I started putting a spoonful of cocoa powder in my coffee in the morning. Then, about two
or three times a week I may have an afternoon one. Not always. I think that might be helping.

Wishing everyone a great season. My dear son is here and I cannot tell you enough how happy I am to have him. Precious good boy, 31, still single but looking....LOL.

I've been doing really well I have a temporary line at work 8-4 Monday to Friday which is making it really easy to stick to my diet. It's a little different from mr regular work so a bit of a steep learning curve but I love it. In spite of the Christmas business life is getting back to normal. I was out at 5 am this morning shoveling snow...I kinda wish we had a shorter narrower driveway

Caroline thanks for the encouragement ! Maryann I hope thanksgiving didn't throw you off track too bad !!

I have eaten more than I wanted to but NOT as much as last year or in times past so that's a small step forward anyway. I have one more family dinner today and I am taking raw veggies and dip and plan on being fairly good. I have not been on program now for several days and have got to get back and I have at least kept up the exercise but I can tell I don't feel as well eating all the heavy foods even if they were in small amounts !!

I've been MIA for a few weeks now sometimes life just crashes down on my head and somethings gotta give...fortunately I didn't eat my way out of my troubles my weight has stayed the same and I'm back at it. Happy Thanksgiving everyone

Sorry haven't been here in a while as it has been crazy here, under alot of stress, and tension and my eating been out of control. Am going away for several days and when I come back need to get back on my plan as my jeans are getting very tight on me and I got rid of most of my big sizes jeans as I didn't want to go back to where I was so now I need to get serious once again.

Enjoy your time with your family and friends.

Maybe you haven't reached all your goals yet-but who has? And maybe you've made a few mistakes along the way-but who hasn't? You have every reason to feel proud of who you are. Notice your triumphs, big and small. There are so many.

Wow! You Skinnie girl!!
Oh my gosh...do not let food keep you from that charm.
I had no idea it was that many weeks of weight loss...so proud of you.

If you get hold of food...and you will...that has msg as the cream of
what ever soups that go into traditional dishes may have msg.
Then do one or two days of no carbing it....I have done that after Sat.
last and it pulled those poisons out me. It will guarantee you will be back
pre eating weight or less. I dropped 4 doing it only on Monday and Tuesday
and only did it as a day of consecration to God to put the flesh under.
It is another day today, so then on Thursday...Thanksgiving...we will have homemade
shrimp alfredo...we are tired of left over turkey and dressing now and wanted something
special that we do not allow ourselves otherwise. Yes, rich in calories...LOL
but only that and texas toast and nice big salad.

Sorry I have not been around much...have my grandson right now as school is out and
trying hard to get the computer from dh sometimes...lol

Hey maryann ..... hang in there and it will work !

Hope everyone is having a great holiday ! I had my first thanksgiving dinner last night ( tues) . I have another on thurs and another on SAT ! WHEW ---- WEE !! I better watch myself or I'll have a gain. I am really trying to have 6 weeks of loss in a row and its tough !! Never made that reward at TOPS and gonna try for it !! Sticking to TSD during family gatherings is not working.... so I shall try to not OVER INDULGE and just make up later !!

I do not know we all are doing as I have not been here in awhile. I have been
really busy and now have my grandson to keep during holidays.
I think my tracker shows where I am, but not weighed today, but I ate Thanksgiving
meal at church Sat. and ate what I wanted but no sweets. Actually, I had no desire
as I looked the table over. Nope, not one bit.
I know a lot of poisons got in me because I made the dressing ....stuffing...and I put
cream of chicken soup in there, and I know it has msg...so
today I am no carbing to flush out the fluids from that msg. Doing this with God's help
as it too hard to do on my own.

Have a big to do list.
Wishing you all a good week and good Thanksgiving. We will not be having our children
home this year for first time...boo hoo.

hey everyone ... ... how's it going ? My niece is here from Fla with the baby and I am purely loving loving on him !! He's only 6 weeks and ADORABLE !! We've ate out some and I've tried hard to make good decisions and today we are going to see the new TWILIGHT movie with family and then on to grocery shop for thanksgiving dinner foods ...........OUCH !!

hi all......
sorry I posted a really long post yesterday and after I typed it .... it won't let me post so I got frustrated and left.
It has been really crazy here with 4 funerals and wedding in last 2 weeks so I"m a little outa sorts and last night my Niece called from FL and is coming to visit for 2 WEEKS with the new baby !! YEAH.... but now I gotta kick it in high gear !!

Continue to be fustrated with the scale...I did not gain nor did I lose this week...and I had a really good week following plan.

I have to believe it is my body's way of rebelling against the exercise I am doing. That is the one part of the plan that has been perfect for the last 5 weeks! I thought to myself this morning how it is getting easier and how I almost look forward to getting it done...all that said it was a little bit of a struggle this past week about midweek. I felt like giving up, but if anything I am going to keep plugging along and get fit, maybe someday the scale will reflect this hard work. I have to keep focused on that medal...and race!

Yesterday was a great POP day, unfortunately the night ruined that for me. Onward we go. Did a 45 min aerobic cd today. Feeling very good about that. Fingers crossed for the rest.

Sharon : Oh so glad to hear from you and sorry for all the damages and your troubles but it sounds like you came out very lucky compared to others ! so glad your power is on and I REALLY cannot believe they did NOT cancel the band thing ! wow !! It will be a very very long road to recovery for the area. It will get very frustrating ! It makes you so grateful for the little things.

Caroline : Hope you had a nice walk,,, it s a nice warm sunny day here and my walk was awesome !!

Tammie and Maryann..... Hang in there ladies and it will pay off. Your body may be "in shock" for awhile but IT WILL eventually let go and realize you mean business. As for perfection.... don't worry,,, just do better choices and make small changes and it will add up.... aim for persistence instead !! YOU CAN do this and you will be so much happier !!

I have a crazy busy weekend as usual with a wedding shower/reception and also a funeral to go to and food to cook and take to both today !! WHEW !! better get busy

Good morning every one

Caroline thank you for the prayer request and I really appreciate that and to every one thank you for all your prayers and your thoughts. We survive the storm and it was a very rough week with out power. We lost our power Mon. night at 11:30 and we got our power back on Fri. morning at 9:00, am the school were closed for 5 days, even though the school were closed my son had his last marching band game last night and it was raining earlier and it was freezing, don't know why they just didn't cancel it. We use our oven to keep a little warm, my bedroom was freezing and couldn't sleep try to bury myself under covers,we have a small generator to use for the refrigator, light and tv, try to pluck in the deep chest freezer but it was just too much power for generator so we had to keep putting ice in it. We have some damages here, alot of broken branches, plastic paneling rip off the porch ceiling, some shingles were rip off the roof, some screens got rip off our windows, the awning on our trailer got rip off and completely destroyed. The important thing is we survive the storm, we are alive and we still have our house. My best friend and her family who lives 2 hours away from me are still with out power. We are suppose to get hit next week with another storm Rosa and we are suppose to get hit with snow. Please continue to pray for us.

Maybe you haven't reached all your goals yet-but who has? And maybe you've made a few mistakes along the way-but who hasn't? You have every reason to feel proud of who you are. Notice your triumphs, big and small. There are so many.

Keep praying for Sharon as she is under a lot of stress. I did hear from her this a.m. and
they are ok, but have damage to their home. It is hard times right now.

Pray for our Sharon, as she lives in Pennsylvania near the coast...maybe
on the coast and her emails bounces back. I sure hope they are ok.
I have done well today, but no exercise, as the morning was spent out of town and
then had to get Grandson from school and now have to take him home and dh fix
our daughters washer.
Oh...I did go get a massage today, and it was heavenly!!

Well ladies I lost 1 1/2 pounds this week. I worked hard for it and was very strict on diet and exercise so I'm glad to see results. I did the most exercise ever so far this year for me in one week. My knees have been an issue for me so I've worked it up slow and I walked 16 miles this week and I hope to keep adding them slowly. YEAH ... that's a goal I was excited to reach and I feel so much better its so amazing .... why did I wait so long to do this???? You can read my blog about another great moment. I am really seeing it in my upper body and some of my old clothes don't fit at all anymore. I just wish that blasted double chin would leave....... I still hate the old woman who shows up in all my pictures......LOL............

Pretty good day yesterday,..only caved to 1 piece of halloween candy but I was way under calories so I allowed myself.

Got my exercise in, too...before heading out to trick or treat with my youngest, so I got to do a little more walking.

Must figure out how to get rid of the candy temptation. My kids dont eat a lot and I always end up eating it!

WAHOO...I made it a day completely POP! Thank goodness I had thought ahead last night and froze some grapes and a shake so that I could have something when I got the before bed munchies!

I am really proud that I did not fall for the bad scale reading yesterday and just give up and blow it. Today I am back down a pound lower than what I was on Monday...and yes, I plan to stay off the scale until next Monday.

Did my exercise even though I was not feeling it...

Today I train teachers, so I will be on my feet today...not as easy to get my water in...can't have the presenter in the bathroom every few minutes. Today for a treat I am getting a subway with out cheese and lots of extra veggies...so excited! Gonna pick up a foot long so I can have it tomorrow for lunch too (another day of training).

Hi Everyone just popping in for a quick Hi...I have had the craziest work schedule for the past three weeks, I often only have 8 hours off between shifts so it will be great on payday but it's wreaking havoc on my computer time.

Today is a sunny cold monday ! I walked and have done great with my eat ing so far !

Tammie : Don 't worry over being perfect ! Just keep on and by doing baby steps , you will make a difference. Persistence instead of perfection !! You cannot expect perfection because that will DEFINITELY fail. No just keep on trudging along,,,, you did not get here overnight and it will take take time to make the change but MAKE conscious and better CHOICES !

Caroline : thanks for the suggestion , we have a game stop here close and I may have to try that ! Great job on the steps also ..... YOU are doing great

Friday and Saturday were both a struggle for me. Why can't I just get it together and stay that way. Today is a new day, and I am really going to focus...luckily I will be out of the house for most of the afternoon so that will help!

Christine...thank keep me acountable! Yes, I am really trying to make an effort to track my food and for the most part that keeps me a little more focused until I give up like I did yesterday and Friday...not huge bindges but not where I should be! Thanks...I need a kick.

I got over 9000 steps yesterday, and kept my calories down. Good.
I know I said I would try not to eat out but I have to today as we are going to
my daughter's after church and must eat before we get there. I am fixing to go
google the restaurants to see what I can eat.

Hey Skinnie, sounds like you have your head where it needs to be...so glad for you.
I just got back from TOPS Fall Rally. It got us all excited about losing weight.
Christine, listen, if you want to you can take that Fitness Coach and go down to
GameStop and trade it in for Walk It Out. They have to make a bit of money, but at
least you probably can get it for about 5 dollars with the other as a trade in.

Well, I feel good today and have one more load of laundry to fold and put away...or hang up
cannot remember what I washed. Want to plan my menu for tomorrow so dh and I can
come home from church and have on plan food waiting on us.

I have my mind set to lose 7 lbs. by Thanksgiving...WHAT!! Well, I am going to do my best.
That means between now and then I will not go out to eat if I can help it. I will cook and have
the food prepared and waiting.

Sharon :... girl I am worried about you ! I hope the storm misses you. Also I know what you mean when life throws you a curve and it sure won't slow down to let you catch your breath. These are the fun years and you are making LOTS of great memories and moments ! Is your son a senior this year ??? Don't fret you are great at this diet thing and when you can you'll roll in here and blow us all away ! LOL !!

Maryann....... YUMMMMM...... I have not had chinese for over 4 months now.... and the colder weather will make it call my name. I have gone and tried to eat light at Japenese places like a sushi roll but its just NOT the same thing. I have really really really cut back on all the buffett places and the best chinese place close to me is buffet. Therefore I have skipped it but I know I will have to visit soon and learn to handle it !

Yesterday I was so angry when I looked and discovered my sloooooooowww weight loss so the anger fired me up and I was POP all day... YEAH !!
I had 2 entrees
1 greek yogurt
4 fruits
2 vegetables
10 cups of water
I did a leslie samsone DVD since it rained all day.

It felt so great so why oh why don't I do it more ???? Today I'm cooking food to take to a family and heading out the door to a funeral. Its cold here but the sun is shining bright and I walked outside in a turtleneck with the temps at 43 !

Hi every one

This past few days has been very stress full for me with my son activities and thank God the season for cross country and marching band is coming to an end. After tonight my son will have 1 more foot ball game for marching band. Then next week or the week after wrestling season starts and that means every Sat. have to get up at 4:00 to be out of the house by 5:00. I am getting so burn out, I just can't do this any more especially when every thing falls on me and my husband can't drive as he have cactracts and can't see and is not having the surgery done. Food wise has not been good for me, I ate any thing and every thing, I am up 3 lbs today and the other day was up 2 lbs so that is 5 lbs the last few days. I did walk at the track 3 days this weeks and walk at home the other days.

We are suppose to get hit with a very bad storm heading up this way in PA next week, please pray for us that we don't get hit and that the storm will go the other way, I am very worried about the storm.

Well, last night was a real challenge for me. DH said those little words I've always loved to hear. "Let's have Chinese take-out." I hummed and hawed and then told him to go get what he wants but nothing for me, thank you. I stuck to the plan. I'm sooo proud of me! That was a big step for me. I NEVER turn down Chinese. And, to top it off, he has enough left overs for his dinner tonight. That means 2 nights of not having to make dinner for him. Double bonus! Now, if I could only train him to vacuum, I'd be a truly happy girl. emoticon

To see weight come off. It CAN happen.
I came home and drank more water and today
I am only 3 pounds up from a month ago.
I sat a lot while sick but now I am working on
My to do list and plan to stay out of my tv chair

My plan is SimpleDiet keeping it at 1200 cal
With My Body type foods by Michael Thurmond.
I will do my wii as much as allowed.

Glad you got your DVD. My brother did not
Get his and it only went to SC plus priority.

Caroline : I got my package from you yesterday... THANK YOU THANK YOU !! You are a sweetheart for doing that ! I'm sorry about your weight gain woes... don't get discouraged , just come on back in and you usuallydo watch your salt so I'm sure its all water weight.

Well ladies I only lost 1/2 pound this week. I am so disappointed ~! I did eat poorly this week and stayed within my calorie range but that just shows how badly I've let things slip away. This means I only lost 2point 4 pounds for the whole month of october. Ladies.....THIS simply will not do !!! I must I must get better control of this.....I will NOW get back on track and WILL get back to what I was doing !! That means TSD !! I still have the crazy holidays to get through so I better get on my battle gear !!

Pretty good Thursday although I am findining my motivation slipping in terms of exercise...did not get in yesterday so I need to add a little more today and tomorrow to make up for it...but I did do double on Monday so I am still okay but I need to get my hiney in gear.

I managed to stay pretty much POP a couple of bites of ds ice cream...grrrr.

Gammah,
You are so right about the salt. On this diet I find it is easy to over do it on salt. I am very careful not to buy anything that has more than 550mg salt. Even that I find a bit high. I can puff up like a blow fish if I take in too much of the stuff. I'm sure your 5lbs is mostly water and it will take a few days to flush it out. I wouldn't sweat about it too much. Just put that old salt shaker on the top shelf, preferably your neighbour's top shelf. lol.

Well, it was 5 lb gain. I do not believe for a minute it is all fat. First...ahem...I had to go bathroom
when I got home. Then, I have been eating lots of salty foods. It takes a lot of salt to season
a pot of dh mustard greens. I have been putting salt on my foods...yes I have. This is someone
who never ever did. So, I will go about getting the salt out by drinking lots of water and leaving
the stuff alone. I guess now I know the damage, I will weigh every day and keep a handle on
my weight. Just wanted you all to know...oh, by the way....everyone at tops had gained tonight.
They did not have tops for two weeks and I was gone 3, so there you go. We all misbehaved.

Mary Ann, if your scale is flakey, then it might be best to wait a week to weigh. Then, you
know for sure you lost if you have followed plan. I really like to weigh every day, but if I
cheat I will not weigh next day, and then I get scared, and then I cheat again. For me it is
best to face the music everyday, and I am going to tops tonight and face the music...I do not
want to go see what 3 weeks absence shows. But, I will hold my head in shame, it was my
fault for when I did cheat...but I was pop many times. Tomorrow is a good day to try for 100%
and it is what it is. I talked to the Lord about it this morning and He put something in my mind
and heart and I think I will write a blog about it if I feel free to do so.
Proud of all of you seeing results.

Yesterday was a good day for me. I stayed OP and even had a few cals to spare. I've stayed off the scale, even though it calls my name every time I walk by. I'm giving it a week, then we'll see if I can call my scale my best friend or fling it out the window. emoticon

Tammie : LOL...... I too have a scale just like that.... I NEVER weigh myself on it at home. I just gave up and joined TOPS and basically go once a week just for the official weigh in's ! It really helps me to be accountable to someone for a same time/ same day weigh in !

I am struggling to be OP as I was earlier in the year and though I've struggled with food cravings and being hungry I have at least tried to WRITE it all downand managed to stay within calorie range so I am excited for WI tonight. I will not GIVE up though and it will continue for me..... giving up is the only failure !! I did manage to get 6 days of cardio .... WOO HOO !! My knees are getting better all the time and the weather cooperated so that made it so nice !!

Lori : hope the snow goes away for you soon....

Managed a day of being POP, although it took a bar and an extra entree to get me there...but I did it. Fustrated with the scale today...got on it and I was so happy, that I had to get on it again to double check and it went up a pound..what the heck so I got on it a 3rd time and gues what another pound gained...grrr. I hate that thing!

Struggling with motivation to exercise...could not drag myself out of bed this morning to get it done...now somehow I am going to have to figure it how to get it done prior to DS#1 choir concert tongiht...grrr!

Hey all yesterday was a great day and I stayed OP !! YEAH !!
I've been for my walk and its another great weather day here and wish I could stay home and get more cleaning done but I have to attend a CPR renewal class.... errrrrrrrrrrr I hate spendind 4 hours of my time re doing the same ole same ole every two years !!

Quick check in...I have am training a group of teachers today and tomorrow and I need to get set up at my location.

Yesterday was a good day...not perfect OP...but close to it. I ate without thinking last night what I was fixing my family dinner. Gotta get in the habit of taking care of me, too!

Hi everyone

I am still on track, might have 1 or 2 things off plan and it is a whole lot better than binging. I did lose some of my weight from my binge, I am just 1 or 2 lbs more than my ticker weight and was hoping to see 3 lbs gone this week but it didn't happen. I did walk yesterday at the high school track yesterday morning as my son had to be at school very early as they were doing a live news at his school and my son made it there in time for the 3 rd taping but miss the first 2. So my son was on the news last night. I did my walk to Leslie Sanone today as it is rainy here in PA and very dreary day. I won't be on my plan for dinner as we are going to a cross country dinner as tomorrow will be the last meet and he will still have 2 more marching band. I hope and pray that he will get withdrawal from the wrestling team as I am waiting to hear from his coach explaining about bad weather in PA and my car doesn't handle those conditions very well and he will be missing alot of practice and competions and see what the coach says about this. I have change my work out this week because of change of plans so I will be doing most of my walking for 5 days this week instead of 3 days.

Christine don't feel bad about cleaning house, I do it when I am good and ready and when I get around to it as I do every thing else but that and do alot of running around with my son and can't even think about that.

Mary Ann good to see you here and Tammie too just do the best that you can, and if you fall off the wagon just get right back on again.

Caroline good for you in getting your steps and do hope that you are not over doing it.

Lori hi to you and hope that you are doing ok. and hi to every one else.

good morning ladies

It is an absolutely gorgeous day here in KY. Its unseasonally warm with a high of 81 and sunny with a nice fall breeze ! My walk was FANTASTIC ..... loving the fall leaves !
we have pecan trees so I've been out to pick up a five gallon bucket already this morning!
It seems I keep pushing my dirty house to the back burner... gotta get on that soon....LOL...
I ate off program yesterday but DID journal and write it all down and stayed within my calorie range.... I hope to stay on program today.

Maryann ... nice to meet you and let us know something about you .... hope you are doing well... yes I previously did WW and hated planning all meal and constantly shopping and cooking and cleaning the kitchen.... this simple diet is perfect for me.... MY DH works late a lot and so its just me most nights !

Caroline : woo hoo ....... emoticon on all those steps ! Also thanks for the mail but I am certainly in NO rush for it. It's so kind of you to do for me. I hope that your DH is doing better with the root canal. I am a Dental hygienist ( 30 years) so I know all about those. Was it a front or back tooth ??

Good morning, I started off being perfectly on plan...POP....and hope to continue.
I went ahead and logged in my meals for the rest of the day, so maybe that will help.
I dropped my steps yesterday on the wii but I still managed to get close to 8000 and
still met my goal of 7000 a day. I have a weekly goal, but cannot remember when I started
that so I better go check.
I am going to post office today, Skinnie.,,LOL...finally!! I had a doctor appointment yesterday
and dh had a root canal so our day got off routine.

I will be packaging up some more simple diet meals today. I am also making protein bars
and excited about that. Making them with almond butter, and I will count every calorie added
to recipe...also will write it all done to remember it for next time.

Not sure how I started a new thread...meant to update in this thread...Day 1 was on track. I did slip a little but it was within my calorie range for the day so I am happy. I also got in an hour of cardio....and boy did I feel it last night when I went to bed!

Hope to make today a good day too...and it is Day 2 of focused being on OP. I have 30 minutes of cardio finished already, so it is starting off good!

No today really is the day I get back on track...I mean it this time and am going to work hard on staying that way and not let life continue to get in the way. I have the exercise figured out, thanks to a group of online friends challenging me to run a 10 mile race next fall at Disney. I have done a great job for the last 3 weeks getting my exercise in...

Now will you keep me accountable daily with my eating!?

Hey Skinnie...I am going to the post office today to mail off my brother's practice
chanter...for bagpipes, and an Irish penny whistle for him. So, will mail yours, and
the doc. today slowed me down with my walking so I only did 15 min today.
I have a full plate, as Mondays usually are as it is wash day, and bathrooms and wastebasket
day. also need to clean out my closet for my bed clothes...too many quilts and comforters.
Need to put some order, and think I will just sell my antique quilts. Get rid of them.
Do not use them anyway. I think I will give away my great grandmothers...goes back to
1850's and maybe earlier as they covered over old ones and there is an old raggy one inside
one and I am dying to take a peek at it. Never been washed...OMG!!!!

Outta here for now, do not eat worth less junk

Sharon: so very sorry for all your woes. I hope you are feeling better and life has slowed down for you a bit ! You just come on back in here when YOU can and we'll be glad to hear from you !

Caroline : I hope you too are doing better. I miss you sweet ladies !

Lori : HOW many miles did you hike this past week ? This is a great time of year to be out and about here... the leaves are turning and the trees are so pretty.

I've been crazier than ever and had to be a hour away early early in the morning 2- 3 day last week and only got exercise in on 2 days due to scedule. I hope to get myself back into a nice routine this week and I am looking forward to it . I 've signed up for FALL Into FITNESS challenge on SP and it lasts 18 weeks so I am hoping that will carry me through the difficult months of the holidays coming up. It ends Feb 23rd so that should do it !! My goal is 20 pounds in 18 weeks and I hope with halloween, thanksgiving, xmas, my bday , new years, and valentines day that it is do-able !! I really really need this !

Hi every one

Sorry to be MIA for a while. I came down with urinary tract infection and trying to get rid of it on my own, had several days where things were going wrong one thing after another, had to rush to clean my house as my best friend was staying with us for 4 days, When she left last Mon. all 3 of us were sick. My husband had diarrhea, my son was vomiting, had pains in his chest, alot of pressure and really bad heartburn, I had a fever, chills, upset stomach. My son went to doctor for 2 days and went to hospital for chest x-rays and thank God the chest x-rays came back normal and he just went back to school on Fri. after being absent for 3 days. We are all start slowly getting better, but now have mucus building up in my throat and chest and feel like I will be coming down with bronchistis as I get them every year the minute the weather starts getting colder.

Am starting my 2nd round of six weeks today as the past several weeks my weight been bouncing up and down and went on a couple of binges. It has been two weeks since I did any exercises and really need to get back with it as I don't want more time to go by before I get back to exercise again as that is what happen over the summer I didn't do any thing for a month and really had hard time getting back to it again and had to start all over again and work my way up and it was really difficult and don't want to do that again. For the next couple of weeks am going to try to be pop as much as I can as I really want to be close to my goal before the year is up.

The cross country season , he have 2 more meets and the Marching band he have 3 more foot ball game and is finally coming to an end the next couple of weeks and soon after that the wrestling season starts. I am getting really burn out and can't do this any more and it is really hard on me when all the driving falls on me.

Miss you all and hope that all is well with you all. Am going to go as I am in the middle of doing wash and stuff around the house and to have my snack and try to do my exercise and go to sleep for a while as I have to pick up my son late at school tonight.

Caroline: I'm glad you are starting to feel better! and I really like your goal of completing one unfinished thing! I haven't been completely off track but a little wobbly with Thanksgiving and house guests...but back on track now!

I have shifts all weekend which I find cuts into my spark time as l like to get on the computer in the morning...I always seem to go a little brain dead later in the day ....lol

Saturday, and I am doing better. Coughing still but feeling better. Think I will go cut dead
sticks from the nandinas today and do another unfinished anything...have so many of them
lining up now.

Ok, I have told myself everything is going to be ok and I am trying to get back
with the program. It can be hard when you do not have the stamina. I will build that
back slowly.

I am fixing a large pot of turkey chili today and putting as many veggies in it as possible.
I will count the calories going into it. Dh is taking me out to Sams...OMG...hope I can hold
up there.

-I will take baby steps to get back.
-Try not to eat salt...or not much
-Try to get 5000 steps...not much but more than I have the past 2 weeks
-No bad carbs...just brown rice and taters...2 serving a day of half cup each.
-do the exercises the doctor gave me to build up my muscles to hold my skeleton where
it needs to be.
-do one thing a day that is unfinished...whatever it may be
-try to smile more

Hi all well after two weeks I still lost 2 pounds ! I'm very pleased especially after vacation and eating out so much ! I guess the week back gave me time to make it up ! WOO HOO !!

Hi all. Been tough times lately. Doing better. A bad infection in my lungs and head...but also
fell last month and had hot flashes shooting down my leg and my knee was out and today
dr. said my pelvic bones were shifted. I have done absolutely nothing for a couple weeks, and
hate it that when I get on a roll something comes along and shoots me back to first base.
I just now told myself to get up and pretend I am ok.
Christine, I not mailed your dvd...please understand it is the fitness coach. I will try and get
it in the mail first chance I can.
I will get back to the program tomorrow. I have a pot of fresh mustard greens...broad leaf...my dh picked
in his little one furrow garden. I will go cook the taters tonight and start getting my food ready.
I hope everyone ok.
Sharon has been in bad shape too. She and her son have been sick. Need to hear back from
her.

Christine: I hope your weigh in goes well, vacation's tough one food wise! good job on getting your walk in it gets harder as the weather gets colder and darker.

Yesterday I took my mother in law to the airport so I have my house back and am raring to go on with my diet and exercise plan. The weather is still good but we are expecting the "CHANGE" emoticon tomorrow so my hikes be switching over to the treadmill on bad days emoticon

I have a two week weigh in tonight at TOPS. I was on vacay last week so who knows how I will do but I'm super syked because I got right back on track immediately when I returned and that's a big KUDOS for me !! I fixed one of most favorite dishes this week and really really enjoyed it and it helped me to stay on track also. Its on my blog if you wanna see it ! I have so much going on the next 5 days with two long days to hospital and dr's appts for check ups and mammograms and what not and then another day at Church/Worship with a meal /buffet following. Those are tough on me.... I have planned a healthy meal to take and so I hope I can run run run past all those beautiful desserts and not look !! LOL !! I walked in a turtleneck here 'cos it was 47 degrees with a breeze outside !!
Hope everyone is writing down all your food and staying on program !!

Christine: Yes we have thanksgiving here, just a bit earlier in the year it is the same day as your Columbus day. Pretty much the same customs and food as a US Thanksgiving. Gotta have a Turkey and all the trimmings and pumpkin pie...lol I did not gain a pound this year yay. Way to go on your two mile walk, it sounds like you had a really good day!

Sharon & Caroline: I'm sorry you are not well recover soon!

Tammie: Sounds like you did really well food wise way to go! Sometimes life just gets in the way of plans though.

I had a great day yesterday both food and exercise wise I managed to get a two hour hike in as well as some strength training...but all that effort required an afternoon nap...lol A least I can't eat while napping...lol
