MRSVK ~ I'm proud of you for holding it together so well while you had company! Making sure you still kept track of what you ate, etc. GREAT JOB!! That .4 will be gone before you know it!

BLKLILY ~ You are soooooooooooooooo busy! Goodness, girl! When do you sleep? lol Good luck with your move and with all the appointments for your son. I hope things go well for him and you, too!

Running to the refrigerator is not considered exercise.

MRSVK11 - You all have been there for me and for that, I could never turn my back! Having a support group is so valuable. I know losing weight is not a sprint but a marathon so along the way, I want to push and support all of you to realize your dream weight as I too reach mines.

I know WE all can do but as life happens, the ups and downs, we MUST bounce back!

I've been on the web site every day it's just with house guest to take the time to respond went out the window... I've been tracking my food and exercise which I think is what kept me from gaining weigh and at one point I was down to my elusive 185, but popped up to 185.4 on weigh in day. It is really wonderful the support that this team provides.

Missus: That problem child comment cracked me up, I too am a bit of a problem child...lol and I think you're right about this time of year is busy and the outdoors is really enticing.

Bay: I completely agree that this is a fantastic support group and I read every post as it comes up..I have an app for that...lol This is a learning experience for us all, to learn how to screw up a and bounce back rather than throw in the towel. I know for a fact I'll screw up I just have to acknowledge that and move forward

Lily: I'm sorry to hear about your son that is such a challenge! Your life is so full I feel like a slacker. But I'm just past my really full child rearing years, but not so far past I don't remember. It's amazing that you are so supportive for this group when you have so much on your plate.

For me, we're trying to move to another state, not just to another side of town. My son was recently diagnosed with Autism so that shifted things a lot. Imagine the various test and psych appointments. On top of that, work and handling my 3 year old daughter. In addition, keeping up on Spark, SD and exercise. Unfortunately, SD and exercise was last on my list. I always can Spark because I have the app on my phone. Simply put, I've been running around too much and from state to state.

As my life is has now been adjusted, yesterday I started trying to get back to where I was. I am literally taking one day at a time. I pushed myself yesterday and am today with the support of all of you who have been here with me since starting the SD.

I know that I have issues with doing too much. Sometimes this simply cannot be avoided with a lot responsibilities and especially with smaller children. Anyway, I will not go on about my little issues. I am appreciative and just wanted to share that I am back, taking one day at a time!

I hear ya' on all of that.
I can tell you that Phase 2 is a problem child.......OK, I am the problem child.
I actually have been wondering how I have been able to get this far in life without having more of a weight problem. I truly thank God for having favorable genetics, having a Mom that fed me healthy food and encouraged outdoor play (basically wanted to get us out of the house!), living in an area with opportunites for sports/nature fun, and having a lifelong habit of enjoying physical activity, also a natural for the taste of veggies/lean food..... also for being blessed with a life that did not have horrible traumas. I certainly can't credit personal self-control, discipline, and consistency!

I will say that I truly could stick to the plan decently for about 3 weeks. I did lose 5 pounds during that time period. That showed that I could actually stick to a plan and lose weight.... both things amazing to me. I really didn't have a sense that I was having to somehow conjure up all this strength and struggle through the effort, which was good for me, since I apparently don't have those abilities entrenched in my character when it comes to food. Anyway, that put me in the "normal" BMI range, but barely. But because of my waist/hip ratio and estimated fat percentage (waist/height ration) , I wanted to continue with weight loss, assuming that if I got my weight down, my waist (disproportionate unhealthy belly fat) would follow. In any event, according to the SD book, I needed to stick with Phase 2 for 6 months. This is where thing started falling apart........Phase 2. Now I am analyzing where things went wrong and trying to move forward. I thought it was my weak character.
Now I am thinking of some food choices and reactions to situations that I did differently. I plan to post on this.

Yes, it appears to me that many of us are not as involved in Spark SD team as we were even a few weeks ago. Just an opinion, there is a flurry of activity right when spring and soon summer hits. I believe (hope) I am feeling a resurgence of Spark activity, I think many of us are still commited to the SD and Spark, and we will come back even stronger after we have recovered from the transition of the seasons.

Any loss is a welcome loss. Congrats!

I think we're all learning something here. We all got a bit too busy this past week and its been rough on each of us in a different way. What have we learned? How are we going to handle this later when we're in phase 2 (those of us who aren't already there) Are we still going to let our really busy, rough weeks be an excuse for slipping up on the SD? Isn't that kinda what got us here in the first place?

I think we all got a little busy for each other as well. Without that support system, it's just not the same. We're here to help push each other along and make this happen. I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been dreaming of having a healthy, much thinner body my entire life. Having an awesome support system (all of you) for the first time in my life has been a Godsend!

Not only am I committed to the SD, I'm committed to each of you to support you, be someone you can all lean on when needed and certainly to celebrate with as we all meet the goals we are trying to achieve.

Thanks for sharing! Any loss is good even those point something pounds.

It seems that many of us has had a past rough week. I am not sure if it's going around in the air or what lol!!!

Anyway, I admire your motivation to going back to the basics tomorrow. I pushed myself to exercise today. I'm glad I did since like you I had not exercised as I would have liked.

Here's to an awesome comeback this week for ALL of us especially if you had a rough last week!

I'm down .2 Pounds sloooowwwly creeping downwards..lol However I did have company for 5 days and although we followed the Simple diet most of the time there was a wedding shower lunch, a couple of restaurant lunches and my exercise was way less intense and a lot fewer minutes so tomorrow ,back to basics.
