Two weeks ago I gave in to the Easter Holiday temptation - not the candy but a wonderful breakfast with homemade croissants and a fabulous dinner. Naturally the next day the scale showed a 4 lb gain!! But the next day I was home again and my fridge had only plan foods and my own determination to make this the year I lose the weight. I went right back on plan. Last week I was down 4 lbs. And this week I am down another 3 for a total weight loss of 21 lbs! My determination is stronger than ever!
In hindsight I might have done better if I had told my family I was dieting. I know I could gain their support but I didn't want any fuss. Plus I don't get to see family that often and I am waiting for someone to say.. "hey.. you look different ... have you lost weight? " Those words are like a magic boost! Anyway.... I am happy to be firmly back on the Simple Diet track and hitting the 20 lb loss has me motivated to push even harder!
I hope everyone else had a good week too! I know this team is a big reason I keep pushing because I see this diet working for so many others too and get inspiration from you all!!
