Sunshine, thanks! It is pretty expensive $30 for the DVD, any tips on getting it for cheaper?

I can simplify my life and lighten my burdens by deciding realistically what I want to do and what I have time to do. (~_^)

Folks: if you want to burn more calories without killing yourself or becoming a gym rat try Oxycise! Here's what an independent study found on calorie burn:

Oxycise: 10 mins: 118 cals burned moderate intensity
Oxycise: 15 mins: 177 cals burned moderate intensity
Oxycise: 30 mins: 354 cals burned moderate intensity
Oxycise: 20 mins: 236 cals burned moderate intensity

Oxycise: 10 mins: 188 cals burned vigorous intensity
Oxycise: 15 mins: 282 cals burned vigorous intensity
Oxycise: 30 mins: 563 cals burned vigorous intensity
Oxycise: 20 mins: 375 cals burned vigorous intensity

A great way to break those plateaus! Great for disabled, pregnant, arthritic and able bodied.

If the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence it's probably astro turf.

After reading a member's blog, I went in search of a way to get a really good, accurate count of calories being burned doing certain exercises.

I know Spark has them on here, but it's not as accurate as putting in your own height, weight, age, etc and getting a better count and knowing where you are with your personal exercise routines.

After looking at a bunch of them, I find this one to be my personal favorite. Ease of use and having so many different exercises to choose from, plus anything from light to very vigorous is a bonus.

It also gives you more accurate BMI information.

Just thought I'd share this with all of you in case you'd like to try using it yourselves.

Running to the refrigerator is not considered exercise.

I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday!
